The glorious irony of the rise of the collector in the 90s:
The crap they all bought and hoarded (Star Trek, Star Wars, a LOT of the 12” GI Joe stuff, etc) can be found for barely more than retail, even 30 years on. What HAS become hard to find? All the “kids crap” they ignored like Street...
Since Playmates went back to their tried and true playbook of TMNT product styles, they re-introduced “Mix-N-Match” figures. Obviously, Hasbro is following their lead again and reintroducing their own take: Mixmashers!
Slightly smaller than the old Hero Mashers, but seemingly sporting more...
I’ve pretty much given up trying to explain my side to my coworkers here in Oklahoma. Humans being held in camps? “They shouldn’t come across illegally to begin with”. Trump’s tariff garbage? “Good, let things be made in America again”. Trump is horrible person who doesn’t care about anyone...
Here’s my issue:
Trump drops dead, his aura of chaos goes away with us being stuck with Vance and all the cronies Trump manages to put in place before he keels.
Trump is a glorified dancing monkey, but he has enough disruptive effects that he can screw up his OWN side as well as everyone else...
Celebrated actor Tony Todd has passed at age 69

I actually wonder if “Prime artifacts“ isn’t going to be the “gimmick” for the line. I don’t see Hasbro making Solus or Micronus “part bots” like the Armorizors, et al, but I can see each Prime figure coming with some sort of special artifact/weapon. Even considering the question assembly of...
I don't know if the greater universe was comforting me or trying to tell things aren't so bad but...
WB Cartoon Rewind on Amazon has been running Silverhawks for the past day. It has helped.
The shenanigans are afoot in Pennsylvania, involving everyone's favorite copyright attorney, Leonard French:
And a follow up:
tldr; In the last few days, THOUSANDS of "batch complaints" were filed in Pennsylvania against US citizens living abroad claiming that, because they live abroad and...
There is NO chance that Fox and the “mainstream” right wing media are going to walk down that rabbit hole again. It already cost Fox over $750million and and the lawsuits and appeals aren’t done with Smartmatic or filings against all the other right wing medias that Dominion went after.
And...
I’m not far off. Got to run to store and get some groceries, probably catch up on some anime series, maybe power up the PS5 to play some golden (or golden-ish) PSX oldies I got on there…and probably not even touch Facebook or the forum or anything else until mid-Wednesday morning.
Except…Hasbro doesn’t DO “standard movie lines” anymore. They haven’t since The Last Knight. Even last year’s “Core Line” was about half the size of a “traditional year” for Generations or Studio Series.
And the North American continent largely skipped that line, except for Walmart’s carrying...
The original launch of Origins 4 or 5 years ago was Walmart exclusive and then expanded. Some of the later Origins figures (like NecroConda) ended up timed exclusives (depending on the figure, it varied from 3-6 months, it seems). But I’ve heard nothing about Turtles of Grayskull items...
Shokoti will be made…as a Mattel Creations exclusive :p
The final figure is due in a week or two. It’s 2-Bopsteady, a fusion of Bebop and Rocksteady.

This is kind of loaded question, simply because there are a TON of criteria you could use. Are we talking JUST cartoons, or entire product lines?
Personally, all things considered, I think Hasbro probably invested the LEAST in Robots in Disguise 2001. The show was already financed by Takara...
Came across this on Tubi, though it was amusing:
Anyone remember the Filipino-produced Transformers knock off, Resiklo? Maybe by its Japanese name of "Transbattler"?
Well, turns out it got rereleased last year, now sporting the title "Transmutators", with a VERY Optimus Prime looking poster)...
