I think it's the requirement of the official MP to be real-deal, HO scale (or whatever it is) trains. The 3Ps sacrifice the replica nature of the alt modes for a (subjectively) better overall appearance.

It certainly changes the metrics. I have the FansToys MP Dinobots which come in at a thousand bucks for the set, but they seem worth it to me. I'm sure for some folks, having Raiden falls into a similar category; I'm just not one of them. I'd love to get a regular Legacy line version though.

Spoiler free impressions: Just saw it last night too and yeah, it's one of the better modern DC movies imo. For reference, the only modern DCEU stuff that I've actually enjoyed are the Shazams, Harley Quinn, the 2nd Suicide Squad and the first Wonder Woman (which still had its issues). I think...
