I think this alone is a good enough reason to pretend like anything that happened or didn't happen in Season 2 is a wash and we can just pretend like none of it matters or exists.
I like to think of it as Qs can't "die" through any natural means. Sure they can be stripped of powers and all that but there was a whole story about how a Q dying nearly broke the Continuum. (Death Wish -Voyager)
In Picard S2 he didn't have any foresight to dying. He didn't even know his...
The only reason Q would look like that would be due to his interactions in season 2. I would also say that applies to him knowing he told Picard the trial was over for him.
We don't really know what happened to him after he snapped them back to the future or how he may or may not have...
Well I really have no idea who he is outside of the fact he's related to Owen Wilson who I mostly feel indifferent about so I don't think that's it.
I've never seen or heard of him until this show
One of the things we know ruins TV shows are the writer's strikes that crop up from time to time. Heroes got tanked by it and never recovered. A lot of the early seasons of Star Trek TNG were half assed recycled scripts from TOS and it showed.
But 2020 put things on a different level. It...
It was really well executed. I think back to the first 2 seasons and remember how disjointed the pacing was where pretty much 2 episodes worth of story were dragged out over 6 episodes then a bunch of new conflicts were added in the last episode tried to tie everything up and it was just a mess...
I've tried to watch this show 3 times but I have a hard time getting more than a few episodes in. That dad character is the worst and the show feels overly campy even by CW standards.
I haven't read any posts in here so as not to be spoiled but does it get better?
Well there's a minor problem with that desire. If they ditched the saucer and did the run in the star drive section you're not watching the Enterprise save the day, you're watching the USS Syracuse save the day.
Which would kind off defeat the purpose.
