Hey, I am open to any and all suggestions and advice. All I'm asking for is a 3D printer that can give me print quality at or approaching what Shapeways allowed for with their clear ultra fine detail plastic...and hopefully one that isn't super expensive. I have to worry about paying a mortgage...

Just sending off this update. Shapeways never got back to PayPal - no surprise - and I'm getting my refund. Now I get to weigh my options regarding 3D printers.

Dispute was made, it's escalated to a claim. Shapeways has ten days to respond from yesterday, and after that, I get my refund.

I have the toy, but he's still in his box. But I second the desire for add-ons to make him look more like the original toy.

Well I tried to file a claim tonight. Unfortunately, PayPal is refusing to accept the claim - apparently, me getting free shipping on this most recent order somehow has made things worse for their system. I will try calling them tomorrow. Hopefully, I will get through to an actual human being...
