That's true. Bad hasbro distribution usually means I can't find the figure before the kits get sold out... so it's been a hot minute since I got one. But a few were tempting.
I always loved getting into battles in this system. As much as I enjoyed playing Dee over in mayhem, she was a very simple fighter. Combat was often a game of a,b,c with flavor text to try and make the same 4 moves feel different. Maple the exact opposite at any point in a mission she could flip...
Oh, the applejack thing again. *cartoonishly exasperated sigh*
J/k man, I remember way back on the old board, when you first raised how much this bothered you. And to be honest... I can't remember not falling into the camp of the rest of allsparkle who seemed to perpetually give you the right...
Yeah, the drill hands are important to me in a weird way... but more so for the altmode weapons I think... easy money for 3p upgrade sets too come to think of it.. transform dreamwave will likely have a pre-order out in a few months for a kit for studio series 86 devy
Yeah, had some down time at work today, so did a deeper dive into the pdf... for sure going with horned king warlock. Monk was tempting... but a martial character makes for a better backup imo, than starting out as one and then switching to a caster later..
In my brain I've always pictured the 6 bot teams having the larger combined modes, I don't know how often that holds true in the canons. But it 'feels' right. Didn't get titan devy because he was too big, and predaking being a titan was all kinds of wrong... and yeah purple is a bitch...
The legs read so much better to me after the paint job. I hope this set gets a g2 boxed repaint version, I picked up Studio series bonecrusher so I'm locked in on that for a new green team
