Interesting options but nothing really grabbing me. I feel much less of a need to replace CW Superion compared to Menasor, so that's also easy to pass.
I personally have no negative feelings about the 13 and it seems like a perfectly acceptable forebears trope, but I'm not going to sign myself...
I've read in multiple places it's the downside to most things being formatted for OLED screens now. Regular high-def can't do the full blacks leading to an over all darker tone.
I finally watched Romulus the other day and yeah, it was just ok. Certainly better than the last couple entrants in the franchise, but nothing groundbreaking. I'd call it their attempt at a "The Force Awakens" for the franchise. Honestly my biggest WTF moment was: WY sends a shuttle to go pick...
My Hiya Baroness and Lady Jaye arrived. Lady Jaye is good, but I'm a bit disappointed in Baroness' face... as usual. I would've been quite happy with a scaled-down Classified Baroness face, but they still haven't quite gotten it right imo.
You can also just use Apnews.com. That's where all the other sites get their stuff from anyway before they add their twist to it. I used to do Reuters, but they've gone subscription recently too.
I'd think the problem with doing that is they'd fit in with nothing else. While I was a bit bummed way back when Mattel first started using the MOTUC bucks for Thundercats, at this point it's established. That being said, S7 has revived O-rings for Joes, so if anyone was going to start doing...
The X-19 holds a special place as the last GIJoe toy I ever got as a gift as I was mostly "too old" by that point (hah - showed them). It and the Tactical Battle Platform are also the only two Joe toys in my current collection (aside from basic figures) that I never sold off.
Anything of this sort can be done... it's unlikely it will be however.
I suspect it would suffer a fate similar to the Super 7 Cobra Mothership. People would gripe about it being too expensive, but also not big enough, and also not include enough things, but also including the wrong things.
Woo, happy anniversary. The Wayback machine doesn't even go that far back - but it's close.
Didn't discover things quite that early myself but been here a while and thankful for it.
Presented without further comment for those who may be interested - check out Operation Blazing Sword.
I don't want the thread to derail with the political discussion, just offering an option for our current reality.
