Does this mean that some people think Quintus Prime is actually a misidentified Beast Wars Prowl?
Clearly he's a descendent.

I was going to suggest "Fursona Prime" but then I remembered that was just Shockwave as Onyx in IDW.
IDW also made him the true progenitor of the Maximals.
Fuzors don't have a progenitor, they're mutations caused by stasis pod malfunctions after the quantum surge.
Not everything traces back to the 13; especially by the time of the Beast Era where cybertronians were essentially guiding their own evolution as a species at that point.

Considering how onyx is the father of beasts: he's probably supposed to be ambiguous enough that you can see a lot of different animals in it.
Ah, but the packaging blurbs and toy bios for Mutant Beast Wars suggest Fuzors were a preexisting thing back on Cybertron, as it was four Fuzors that Megatron experimented on as test subjects for his virus, inadvertently turning them into Mutants as a result, which took place during his time back on Cybertron between Beast Wars and Beast Machines.
This would also retroactively explain how Megatron knew to call Silverbolt a Fuzor at the beginning of "Coming of the Fuzors (Part 2)" when at no prior point in the show was the term ever coined or introduced. He just calls him that like it's a known thing, as opposed to how Rattrap takes a sec to think of the word "Transmetals" when trying to describe himself and Cheetor to Rhinox and Dinobot in "Aftermath".

I think Megatron might just be better at coming up with bullshit on the spot than Rattrap. Presumably, Stasis Pod malfunctions can happen on Cybertron too, anyway, for a variety of reasons, right?
