If the universe is alive, then everything is biology.
The trouble is, there's no such thing as infinite growth. There's a finite amount of expansion possible, there's no way around that.

Just because it doesn't exist doesn't mean companies aren't hunting for it. They've been blowing up their long-term business for years now to get as much immediate growth and profit as possible. It's a damn epidemic at this point, and the bubble will eventually burst, it's just a matter of when.
This is terrible. We're all boned.since this is the business and tariffs thread for hasbro everyone should be aware that all de minimis exceptions for all countries are ending 29 august here in the USA
so even if you import a figure from japan yourself you're gonna have to pay tariffs come 29 august no matter where it comes from
Yeah, ebay sent its Canadian (and probably other countries) sellers an email recently basically cancelling our US shipping options and telling us to use couriers like FedEx if we want to send anything for the time being.Don't worry, you won't have to pay the tax...because it simply won't ship in the first place. There's literally no infrastructure in place to handle the huge increase in things that are taxed, and no real guidance about how this will be handled, so companies simply refuse to throw packages into the void and just hope things get sorted out. We have embargoed ourselves.

who cares not like we need anything from other countries anyway, we just make all our stuff here
If that's at me, it's more this part I'm worried about:Don't worry, you won't have to pay the tax...because it simply won't ship in the first place. Not super-eager to see any of those go under, even if TRU has been circling the drain for a bit now.Everest Toys is a major foundation for the Putnam Investments Group of properties, which include Sunrise Records, FYE, Famous Toys and the Canadian arms of Toys R Us and Babies R Us. Disruptions in Everest's business would likely have a ripple effect across North American specialty retailers.
