Automorph adds some spectacle when done right. They just didn't have good ideas for what to do with it, and did it anyway.
Yeah, some of them were fantastic. Some felt forced and awkward.
I guess hot off the Unicron trilogy, they felt they needed some kind of line-wide gimmick.

That animated Bumblebee doesn't look too bad, but I might just stick with the one that I have.

The Animated Bumblebee is part of the third part of Legacy, called Legacy United, along with an Animated Optimus Prime.
I guess they decide that its time to retire those molds for the time being!
Prime looks kind of WEIRD, even for animated style, thou I think I chalk it up to the maskless face, but then to me, Optimus prime without a face mask has always looked a bit weird
I like our Animated boys here. Don’t like that Bees Stingers are hand held but other wise I can deal with his less rounded bot mode. Likewise with Optimus. By now we know not to expect a 1 to 1 recreation, but he looks good in both Bot and Truck form. I just down that they didn’t use the opportunity to use him as Leader class and give him a full Fire truck trailer…. But could we be getting RiD Optimus for that….
I like that animated Optimus Prime, and I need a big Optimus for my Animated collection, as that was one I never got around to getting.
Optimus handles the half-Animated half-G1 face a lot better

Legacy Bulkhead, Prowl, Bumblebee and Optimus. I'm pretty stunned that Animated Ratchet isn't part of the leaks for next year. (He's not right? I feel like I would remember that.)
You can't come THAT close to doing the whole team and leave one guy out.
-ZacWilliam, I like Strongarm but it's easy for me not to "need" the rest of her team when it's only just her. If they did Fixit, and Sideswipe and Grimlock I'd be needing a Bumblebee to match...

That Optimus is beautiful. As much as I loved Animated, I was poor at the time and had no extra cash for Transformers, so I never got an Optimus other than the Activator, so I'll be happy to have this guy.
I'm still half expecting him to show up as a trailbreaker remold somewhere, maybe selects. We don't usually know about them this much in advance.
Won’t stop some from making the comparison. His Vehicle mode is more Animated than Primes big SUV. But does need the big green lower jaw to be more Animated.As in Prime Universe Bulkhead? Cuz that noggin sure ain't Animated Bulkhead's.
I generally don't care for the Animated aesthetic but that Optimus looks pretty cool.
Per leaked photos, the stingers can operate like they should, and can be combined while wrist-mounted.
Optimus sure seems to be skewing a lot closer to the Animated aesthetic than 'Bee and Prowl did, though that's not a complaint by any stretch. For one, it makes me actually want him. Wish he had his multi-purpose blaster, but alas.
Legacy Animated Optimus Prime looks pretty cool. Love the extended axe.
