Yeah, I’ve got no reason to get up in arms. That said, I DO see some distinct visual similarity to Cavill, which I find amusing given the hoopla around him fired/rehired/fired as Superman.

I half feel like Cavil has the 'Snyder Stigma' attached to him; and that if DC is trying to distance themselves from that as it feels like; that could be why Cavil ultimately got fired, as he's kinda the face of the Snyderverse.

When I saw Corenswet in other shows, I thought he looked more like Tom Wellings younger brother. I didn't think he resembled Cavill.

Certainly a valid point, and as always I'll give pretty much any superhero flick a go (other than Sony's crap like Morbius and Kraven).

Superman's been played so many times, in both film and TV, he's going to have a lot to live up to. I honestly wouldn't have minded if they'd just taken the Superman from the current Superman & Lois show and movie-sized it.

One thing Robert Pattinson had going for him all along is that he apparently despises Twilight even more than most of us probably do. The things we do for a paycheque.

Dumb Bunny?!? Of the Inferior Five?!?! No way!!!

On the story, I don't like that Gunn went for this plot right off the bat. Too easy to backpedal.

Still not into his dialogue and music use.

What even is this? It looks like someone had a script for a generic "american gothic" style mystery and decided "Hey, you know what this needs? Green Lanterns!". Neither character feels anything like their comic counterparts.

Yeah, this feels a bit like the "Hard Travelling Heroes"-era for Green Lantern and Green Arrow. Mixed with a little bit of Hal's time as a travelling toy salesman or trucker in the 80s.

And John feels a bit more cocky, like his pre-accidentally destroying Xanshi in Cosmic Odyssey days.

I'm not sure if they're going to have Hal be possessed by Parallax the whole time, or trying to "imprison" the entity inside of himself. Thus the grey hair, and why he seems to be hesitating to actually use the ring. That would be a easy "Jekyll/Hyde" story to build up for the finale. But, I'm just not sure if that's what they're planning.

The physical Green Lantern suit in the closet is just weird. They're probably doing their own thing, and it makes some sense to wear backup clothes in space. But, it does feel a little weird, and maybe a little too "grounded". But, that kind of goes for the whole show.

It might be a fine drama. But, it does feel like they tried to spare EVERY expense. It's not what most people would think about when they think about Green Lantern, anymore. But, I get not wanting to go fully cosmic on a brand that's been seen as a little "toxic" ever since the movie flopped. And it might be fine for a TV show. We'll see.

The trailer for Clayface. Again, this will be in continuity with stuff like Creature Commandos and Superman
