It is difficult to see a bright spot when you're trapped in super small town America, especially here in the fly over states.
Moving to a *very* small town in Kansas, even to follow a dream job, comes with understanding that you will have to wade through some of the stickiest GOP ride or die people on a daily basis. On patrol I see Trump flags all over. One lady had "Lets go Brandon" painted on her fence.
Since the indictment, people here are nervous. There's talk of what comes next and it's suddenly hard to get ahold of ammunition and gear.
Trump may yet be on the outs, but he retains an iron grip on the small towns that are preyed upon by Fox News. There really is more of them than you would think and they are in positions of authority. What will happen if/when they decide to use that position in defense of the Tangerine Anus?
