What I liked about the poll in general, was the options. You had the obvious ones, you had interesting ones, a few 'becuase they are popular', and then you had Arcee and Hound, the two never gonna happens, but would have been the most interesting options becuase 'htf do you make the gimmick work with those two?', while Thunderwing is still my choice... I kinda wanna see the universes where they won.
The poll was full of untapped potential. We never even found out who or what Unknown Evil™ was.

Which is why its unknown evil, but my guess is likely Megatronus, as he is the only character who appear in the show but never had a toy based upon that desgin!

For he, she, or it hailed from those ancient, bygone days that preceded the great plague, and even the reign of the dear leader who trumped all who came before. It’s hard to joke about such serious matters. Unknown Evil™ could be anything or anyone. It could even be a Known Evil™!
I feel like Rodimus has about as much of a base mode as Optimus, and then some, being a mobile version of largely the same basic thing.
That said, I've got both because hell yeah, Powermaster Rodimus, but also because hell yeah, OG Rodimus.
As for Primal winning the poll, I was happy to see him get to officially become a true Prime in fiction (even if... you know), and that's why I voted that way.
But yeah, had the whole toy thing been known... might've voted differently. In fact, I think I was backing Arcee until she was eliminated (that's how that worked, right?).
Hound and Arcee were definitely the most interesting options in that poll. I voted for Hound. But after they were both eliminated in round 1. And it was Primal vs 3 G1 dudes. I voted Primal cause Beast Wars.

POTP Rodimus was definitely the right idea, just let down by rampant cost cutting.
Someone has improved Skullgrin by giving him his "correct" noggin.
I guess the blocky head is more consistent with the body made of rectangles but the body is still made of rectangles.
Yeah, I have no overwhelming desire for "Inner Robot Only" Skullgrin. The giant demon skull is the best part.
They did, but said it doesn't quite work right yet and needs another pass.
I would probably do this - the skull doesn't work as it is, so at least if you can think of it as the inner robot then there's some value in the toy.
Honestly I think the skull works fine as is and it looks recognizably like Skullgrin. I wouldn't mind a robot head under it to switch to occasionally but any "upgrade" with out that isn't really an upgrade imo.
-ZacWilliam, I do think removable "masks" is something Hasbro should take a shot at experimentally for future Pretenders above Core class but the iconic shell head is really the important part.

Which they're pretty much already doing with the new Studio Series The Fallen toy having a removable mask over his real face.
I would buy a new inner robot head and even more so if it came with a full pretender shell too. The official skull head could just pop on the 3P shell via a ball joint.
Just to jump back a discussion or two, I'm excited to get Jhiaxus I've read G2 probably for the first time since I bought the titan trades, and then read Regeneration One for the first time (not a lot of Jhiaxus in that), I noticed they could easily release a "premium" version replacing the white with gunmetal grey or silver.
And PotP, I wish I hadn't gone for OpOp over the others in fact I wish they all could have been made (or Hasbro could have at least told us what we'd be getting), although who knows the support Primal got might have been what led to Kingdom being so BW focused. I have to wonder what they would have been if the others won, would Megatron have been the obvious upgrade into Galvatron or something else, Hound for years I thought he would have basically been G1 to Movie but maybe it would have been more like Cybertron Scattorshot, Arcee I have no ideas for and that makes her the most interesting to me.
