Gummy-Goo!!!

Honestly, this has the best QC of all the other iterations of this mold. Must be the uranium.🤓😜

And no, that last photo was not edited in any way; I just sat him under a UV light for about 20 mins and then shut us in a dark room and used my phone with disabled flash to snap a pic.

I am tempted by this just to put with the lurid pink Galvatron. If I can't have toy colors for both, I will go day-glo.

"Did something...happen...to you guys after Beast Wars 2?"
"Have you heard the good news of Slaanesh's plan for you?"

Presumably a custom class figure from one of the conventions? Or maybe an unproduced Botcon design?
Close, but neither. It's one of a limited number of hand-painted samples made by Shawn Tessman that were sold online back in 2021 (one year before BotCon came back). I managed to get one for myself.

It's a piece of what, in hindsight, they wish BotCon 2013's exclusives should have been like, a spiritual "Wave 2" continuation of the line instead of a bunch of homages to the existing Wave 1 figures.

Sorry, I knew that, I was just being purposefully obtuse
The Whigs? What balderdash. Everyone knows that a proper cultured gentleman can only support the Pittites!

That would have been very cool.

IIRC, it's also what the 2013 exclusives were originally advertised as being, which is why I got excited about the reveals of Strika and Obsidian, as I wanted to see more new-to-the-original-line characters using seemingly random yet still somewhat fitting molds added to Machine Wars through that year's exclusives, when instead we got what was mostly just remakes of the original line and more Classics Seekers, instead of the new additions to it that were initially promised.

This Bumblebee works so wonderfully well in that vein, being a mold that is very much not Bumblebee redecoed into Bumblebee-ish in colors that only just barely approximate Bumblebee colors (putting more prominence on the black over the yellow) while still incorporating the signature olive green color of the original Machine Wars toys into the deco (while not as apparent from the pic I posted, the olive green can be found in places all over the figure as the transitional part of the gradient blending the black into the yellow).
