So Walmarts are starting to put up their christmas toy displays like last year. This year includes the Tron bots, but they're also adding Blokees! I picked up Action Edition Soundwave for $30!
That is an awesome price for Soundwave. He comes with Ravage, Lazerbeak, and Rumble too. Magnetic activated lights and base.

Got the new Blokees Wheels in yesterday and the fourth box I opened was the chase Soundwave Radiant Edition so YAY!. Unfortunately they made small but deleterious change to the driver figure. While the previous versions used a hinge in the midsection the new design uses the world's smallest ball joint that is not very secure and pops out if you try and pose the figure at all (say when you are trying to bend him to put in the drivers seat) or when you assemble him, if you are like me and do the torso assembly first.

I'm somewhat stunned at how much I'm mulling it over, given that I have most of the stuff in it. Maybe I'll get rid of the dupes now and make some room. Or idk I could try and just sell the calendar minus the Op (and SC Grimlock) at a loss.

Just saw the price for the Advent Calendar here and it's (checks) about $80, yeah. I keep forgetting what the exchange rate is now, but seeing it confirmed is as sobering as it gets. I may have to pass, as there's just too much going on to drop that much on this (and with so little room to try and recoup costs by selling doubles that everyone by now also has doubles of). Maybe if I see a reseller with just the Op, but who knows how much of a chunk of the 80 that's gonna be anyway.
Depending on what all you were wanting out of it, I might split one with you. I'm in the same spot where there were a few things I'd like out of it, but I don't need all of it by any means.
My must-haves out of it are Grimlock, Bruticus, Vehicle-mode Optimus with trailer/roller and vehicle Rodimus. I'm not opposed to having a couple of the robot-mode guys, but I don't have a strong need for them either.
Mainly the holiday Op and maybe the card for the Grimlock. But shipping would tip the scales drastically
The big one looks really cool. The smaller one looks like a teenager in a costume.
(I bought one blind-box blokees figure, put it together, and gave it away. I haven't kept up on which series is which . . . )
