I admit I didn't get some of the references or controversies going on, so I looked him up on TFWiki.

Me: "I'm confused."
My Brain: "Which part of the article?"
Me: "The entire thing."
My Brain: "Oh, that part...uh...Yeah, that's a stumper..."

Seriously, if someone did half of this and was dumb enough to leave this level of documentation, how did they get ANY sort of art deal of any kind? I'd be scared to do business with them at all. Maybe doing art for the China exclusive side of the franchise in a country well known for IP Theft kept things on theme?

I think it's more that some random dude's financial escapades on the other side of the world, from 20 years ago, probably aren't the kinds of things you'd expect an employee to be caught up to date on.

At this point, AI can provide a better product. For free.

People will complain, and rightfully so, but if it's a choice between Pat Lee getting a paid gig related to Transformers again, or AI art being used, well...they might be able to justify it.

Hmm... so the proposed choice is either an overhyped prospect with no talent that exploits the works of others to look good while avoiding paying people who perform the same function better a living wage, or AI.

Tough call.

The double back cannons is a interesting decision.. though it looks like you can fold the smaller ones away so it's a bit less obvious.

The two different pipe sizes behind Bruticus's head are to make high and low tones for when he's doing Military Band parades. He's the Band. Soundwave objects to this but keeps getting drowned out by the 'sad trombone' at 175 decibels.

Edit: The 'ears' on Bruticus could make a third set of pipes...this could actually work musically speaking...

If you wanted a more intimidating head cannon (literally, along wiht the back ones) you could picture him stopping, then leading over to make a multi-barreled mortar barrage. Right before he accidently shoots himself in the chest with his own knee anyway.

I really do like this, not a 'quickly try to preorder' level but a 'hope my previously stated plans for next Black Friday might pan out' level. Weird chest, though, like they tried to do the Blast Off style but didn't quite commit. And is Bruticus's gun all Swindle, or is part of it going to be useful for Onslaught, who has very little in his own Robot Mode if you don't count the platform.

Okay, Armada Sideways looks incredible. Onslaught and Bruticus...eh, pretty damn disappointing.

I have whinged about Onslaught's stubby, short gun barrels in truck mode before, but the problem (for me) persists here. They just look like they need to be about twice as long in vehicle mode. Onslaught's robot mode feet are bird-like and distracting, and Bruticus' legs appear far too short in that shot (seriously, his arms almost come down to his knees). I'll need to see more pics, of course, but this, disappointingly, just isn't it. This is the one set where I can almost see the $$ that DNA Design will rake in on their inevitable upgrade kit(s).

I think part of Bruticus's problem is that the arm frames make his upper torso TOO wide compared to the rest of him. His legs are a bit stubby, but the super wide torso makes them look more so. If Blast Off and Vortex made up the full mass of his arms (maybe with hinges borrowed from Onslaught) it works better, I think:
