Transformers Collaborative series

I wonder if this could be redecoed (or retooled, either partially or heavily) into the A Team van?

Then I would be intersted in that, as currently I got no interst in the figure as I not seen Stranger things and I'm mostly tuned out from western TV as it pretty much garbage these days!

If the collab status makes a redeco or retool impossible, even just a figure that copies the general transformation scheme would be acceptable, in a G2 Smokescreen to Energon Starscream kind of way.

I do wonder how much a mold would have to be retooled before it was clear for re-use.

Kidding aside, I wish SS Devastator had more standardized limb connections. I guess the arms also being part of the torso make it tough, but hear me out:

New limb potential- Duststorm, redecoes, whatever. And maybe they're not always construction vehicles-- maybe a submarine or dragon.

New torso every year or whatever-- sometimes two guys, sometimes one big guy.

Have an actual combining system, designed to be its own quasi-subline for several years. Revenge of the Fallen introduced the idea of Devastators being formed by various Constructicons and not just five unique individuals.

Maybe not all arms can also be legs or vice versa, but it'd be nice if you could at least swap arms, you know?

A surprise to me, but the Hot Wheels Collab figures are available at Walmart (YMMV) in the "collector spot" they've been supporting the past several months. $34.99, which may be a couple dollars more than your preferred online retailers.

Thanks to TFW’s Jtprime17 we have listings for the second wave of Hot Wheels Collab items:

“TRA GEN COLLAB HOT WHEELS TWIN MILL 2 (exclusive not sure where)
Product Code: G2224

TRA COLLAB HOT WHEELS EL SEGUNDO
Product Code: G2221

TRA COLLAB HOT WHEELS GT SCORCHER
Product Code: G2222”

Honestly, after the the very distinctive vehicle modes of the first wave I find these kind of blah.

For reference:

Apparently this version of GT Scorcher is currently one of the main "characters" on a Hot Wheels cartoon? So it makes sense that they would use it for cross-promotional porpoises (you know, dolphins in the marketing department.)

And for the El Segundo, hopefully they use this scheme instead, as it's a lot more interesting than the silver:

I really hope they do the GT-Scorcher in that color scheme even if they don't label him as a Decepticon.

Yeah, I'd very much want the Scorcher if it was in that black and purple scheme. Segundo will probably depend on how much I like the robot mode.

Apparently there IS a "Twin Mill II" (and even III), more and more sleek/streamlined versions. Idk if that has any bearing on colors.
