Well, that sucks. I just got SS86 Commander Hook/Long Haul from them yesterday, and the shipping box and package were beaten to hell and back. Didn't have time to check the contents, but this has been a semi-regular occurrence for me with Pulse shipping.

Ugh. A part of me wants to blame whatever shipping method you used, but if the package was beaten up, well, that makes me wonder.

Anyway, an update to my bit of frustration. Despite me calling Pulse about the order, despite me going through the process of making a new payment, the guy on the phone apparently failed to do something on his end to get everything sorted out. So I had to go through the whole mess again today. Between this and them being finicky about accepting my payment methods, I can't help but feel frustrated with these people.

Well crap.

I had to order a new bank card, so my current one- the one linked to the preorder at target for the 4-pack with horri-bull- can't clear their tease-checks (regularly charging my card for the order to ensure the account is valid, then reversing the charge) so I have one day to update my payment info or it gets cancelled.

I use another, still valid, card and my order total jumps from $71.xx to $104.xx. Completely removing the $10 off from the "Spend $40+ on toys, get $10 off!" promo, the $15 from a gift card, AND the Free Shipping which should still apply.

....and while typing this I refreshed the order page and my total is back to the original $71.xx.

EDIT: My card's statement has a pending charge of $104.xx while Targ still says $71.xx.

I didn't realize there were options for shipping, tbh (I sprung for Premium so shipping would be free). Guess I can take a gander at that at some point.

And upon reflection, Hasbro Pulse doesn't give any choices about shipping methods, and tends to use DHL. I'd check to see what shipping company they did use, then give both them and Hasbro Pulse a phone call about how the package was handled.

Yeah, I am going to open Hook/Long Haul today to inspect them for damage. If I don't see any, the reality is that I probably won't reach out to them. I've done the customer service angle a couple of times through them for similar issues, and it's been like pulling teeth.

With Pulse, I mostly get DHL, sometimes FedEx. DHL shipments are, by far, worse. I live about 2-1/2, maybe 3 hours south of the Chicago warehouse, so for UPS shipments, that's a one day journey. For FedEx, it's usually 2 days. DHL will spend 7-10 days bouncing the package between multiple different states before it finally ends up at my house.

I had a lot of problems with DHL last year. Lost packages, delivered to the wrong house and poor attitude from the delivery guy. (threw the package at my porch from the street) I eventually told Pulse to stop using DHL when shipping my orders. They've used FedEx ever since, not had a single problem all this year.

How did you do this, just put in a ticket? They use USPS for last mile here, and there's some USPS issues with my workplace right now, which is where I've been having stuff sent for convienience.

I just put in a ticket, describing what my experience with them has been like. Had video from my Ring doorbell, pics of the packages. Stay respectful through all the calls and emails.

Sometime USPS took over, with them there was no issue. When it was the actual yellow DHL van and driver/delivery person, is when I really had problems.

Now it's been FedEx or just USPS.

I've had almost the exact opposite experience. No serious issues with DHL that I am aware of, but more than my share of problems with FedEx over the years...including one instance late last year where they swapped my package with someone else's by mistake.
