The most terrifying thing for a close-minded parent is the idea that your child will be exposed to information that you don't control and develop opinions you don't share; as such, any popular thing amongst children will get scrutinized for being a "corruptive" influence.

In my own childhood I saw videogames, pokemon, pogs, power rangers and more get targeted. In the past it was D&D, or comic books, or penny dreadfuls.

If it's a popular thing amongst kids, a contigent of adults will be afraid it represents the downfall of modern civilization. It also leads to stuff like the Comics Code Authority, or the ESRB ratings, as industries that are popular with kids try to self regulate to avoid scrutiny.

I saw those pictures the other day and honestly I feel like it looks better in hand than the stock pictures implied.

It actually convinced me to order it off Amazon, I should have mine tomorrow.

Got him! I got to say, it's really nice. Like it's extremely play pattern forward. But there's a LOT of play pattern. And it's got a really solid in hand feel. Sometimes the 'kid' lines feel like it's flimsy plastic, or poorly painted or just shoddy. Not here. He's a CHUNK.

The red, black and gold on him is all painted on - and heavy. Matte. No plastic showing through cause they skimped on the coats. Gimmicks all work well. Automorph (waist rotates around and head springs up), clamping dino jaw that snaps backs into place, spinning tri-barrel gun on his other arm spins nice, has a good ratchet sound and has 5 mm pegs to attach things to. Mech mode chest cavity kind of 'cages in' a figure. Will fit a small deluxe or Core class. Ports and pegs GALORE. Dino head and gun can detach and combine into a weapon platform/battle sled.

He's honestly the closest thing to an Armada toy I've handled since Armada. I'm all in on the line. I'm bowled over.

r any of these toys even on store shelves yet
Grimlock had cropped up on Amazon several weeks ago from their Amazon Global UK store at an inflated price, but available for shipping. I’m assuming some are coming from THAT. But, as Virion just post posted, Amazon is getting their stuff in early (Nothing new, they’re already getting fall Star Wars kids stuff in).
Update: Yes, Amazon US DOES have Cyberworld Grimlock in stock right now. Pricing is $29.99, which, IIRC, is $5 higher than his original SRP Hasbro toted at Toy Fair. Bumblebee is listed as “Temporarily Out of Stock” which makes me think he might have been available as well, at some point. The basic Cyberchangers are all still listed as “Unavailable”.

Official release “date” is July, though I suspect Walmart may have it out early due to a pair of retailer exclusives (CyberChanger Mirage and Ultimate CyberChanger Megatron). Most others might not roll the line out until the fall/Christmas sets in July/August.

Entertainment Earth has posted preorders for single figures from the line. Among them, were two new listings:
Cyberchanger Elita 1 and Wheeljack. Both due in August, probably "wave 2". Wheeljack was the one figure that wasn't seen at Toy Fair, and we've yet to see any depictions of him in this branding. Likely G1 based, but given Snarl, Megatron and Galvatron, that isn't a guarantee. Also, EE has some nice, clear, promo images of the first wave figures.

I still like the brand's DESIGNS, if not always how they've been executed here. I would LOVE to see Cyberworld get a "CyberChanger Elite" or full on Deluxe/Voyager segment to supplement the Cyberchanger play pattern.

Aren't the episodes only five minutes long?

EDIT: 5 minutes long at 36 episodes, which at 180 minutes was about as much time as an 18 episode season of Cyberverse.

See, this is why I love this kids stuff. There is an air of "unpredictability" at play that keeps things interesting. Some notes and thoughts:
-Obviously, the "E" indicates some sort of package refresh. That might be why there are two Airachnid listings, we might be seeing two different packaging/themings for the line. Or Airachnid will have two different decos, which isn't that wild a idea in this sort of line from Hasbro.
-Nice to see some Beast Wars love during the Anniversary. VERY interesting that Primal is being cited as being "Classic". I wonder if we'll be getting some additional Beast characters and a Armor Up Optimus Primal on the back end of 2026?
-The Ultimate listings are odd. The Ultimate CyberChanger Megatron (the Knight Armor Hound TLK remold) is a Walmart exclusive at a slightly lower 24.99 price compared to Grimlock's 29.99. I wonder if Hasbro opted to "merge" the ideas into a single product. It would also jive with the Cyberverse Ultimate figures, which were around $30 as well.
-If the above is true, then Soundwave Deep Sea Explorer might be next year's "big set". Then again, Hasbro might play with pricing and Soundwave might equivalent to Chomp and Battle Grimlock with another, larger, offering yet to be revealed.
-Given the number of products, and the fact that even some 2027 stuff was leaked in other segments, we're probably looking at a SIGNIFICANT chuck of the 2026 Cyberworld line. There's 7 Cyberchangers listed, and I don't see more than 12 being the total year output and you KNOW guys like Starscream are going to get rerun.
-I'm hoping the multipack features some nifty non-core characters, even if just redecos. Cliffjumper, a seeker, maybe a "Classic Insecticon" colored Chop Shop and maybe an Ultra Magnus from Off Road Optimus Prime?
