What stupid thing did the GOP say or do this time? Episode 3!

Oh, that'd be nice. The worm probably gets lonely.

And I just got an idea for a sit-com! A parasite moves into RFK Jr.'s brain to help the worm pay the rent, and wacky mismatched roommate antics ensue! This is an Odd Couple remake that could actually work!

Fortunately, the protesters didn't drown out this gem:

"My opinions about vaccines are irrelevant," [RFK Jr.] said in response to the question from Democratic Rep. Mark Pocan of Wisconsin during the House Appropriations Committee hearing. "I don't want to seem like I'm being evasive, but I don't think people should be taking medical advice from me."

The Secretary of Health and Human Services, everybody.

If something positive comes out of his "leadership", he'll gladly take credit for it, but when people start dying from his decisions, well, he did say not to listen to him. Typical Republican bull.

True enough. Everyone left voting Republican is either a brainwashed member of the cult or a blithering idiot who refuses to pay attention.
And I'm not at all sorry to any GOP voters left here. This is what you all have wrought with your votes. It's been clear for some time what the GOP has been getting at. To deny that and continue to vote against your own self interest and the betterment of all Americans just makes you stupid.

Another day, another self-defeat by the GOP. This time, they killed Trump's Big Beautiful Bill.

I mean, granted they killed it because it doesn't go far enough for the die hard MAGA Morons who are comfortably in safe deep blood Red seats but they still killed it.

Ironbite-It's fun isn't it?

Steve Scalise ranting 2 months ago about how the lying Democrats keep lying that they are going to cut Medicaid, but the budget plan doesn't say the word "Medicaid" anywhere.

The finished bill has a 110-page subscection titled "Medicaid" with substantial cuts to Medicaid. It says Medicaid 58 times. The far right killed the bill and said the silent part out loud. This bill does not cut Medicaid enough.

One of those ironic times, apparently, that the Democrats made up a vicious lie and the Republicans couldn't stop thinking about it.

"Stop giving them ideas!" "What, ideas for terrible policies that will make them hated by everyone and then we can tell everyone we told them so? Nah, sounds like a great plan to me!"

I want to go back in time and stop the Apprentice from being a thing. Or at least, not have Trump on it.

Ironbite-this timeline is too stupid.

The program pitch reportedly starts with 12 pre-vetted contestants arriving at Ellis Island in New York City aboard “The Citizen Ship.” The show’s host—preferably a “famous, naturalized American” like Colombian Sofia Vergara or Canadian Ryan Reynolds—will welcome them with a personalized baseball glove.
Ryan Reynolds seems like one of those rare celebrities that nobody hates yet; it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

So I missed the post above and I was looking and yours and was like, "What the heck is he even talking about? A reality show cannot make someone a citizen"

Unless.....you are in bizarro world and the serious people running our serious government are seriously running it like this.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

This is very much a "damned if you do, damned if you don't moment" if they approach reynolds publicly. If he goes for it: liberals will blacklist him, and if he refuses the maga chuds will send him death threats.

I don't think so. Ryan Reynolds can say he has a scheduling conflict or the money wasn't right or he just doesn't want to do TV. He can also get into a scheduling conflict ANY DAY OF THE WEEK if he needs to.
