I'm skeptical. Biden announces that he has stage 4 prostate cancer metastasized to the surrounding bone, and the next day Adams announces that he has the exact same thing? Quel coincidence, n'est-ce pas?
I mean... we could just wait and see. If he dies: well, it's a coincidence after all. If he doesn't: no one will care anyway because it's scott adams.
It is not a staggering coincidence that another celebrity would have it. If Scott Adams was regularly announcing he had what someone else had, that'd be weird, but he doesn't. Two years ago he announced he had racism and his career died of it and now he is announcing he has aggressive prostate cancer and I expect the rest of him will die of it.
The whole thing is sad. I wish he didn't have racism, but since he did I wish he had kept it a secret. I wish he didn't have cancer and no one else did either. He is older than I really thought about him being, but I wish he could live 20 more years and experience some new things and maybe figure out some things that he hasn't yet.
What a shame. He had a good run doing something he was very good at, and some of his work is still brilliant, but he remained lonely, bitter, and ultimately toxic, and now he's going out like this. It would have been nice if he got better, in every respect.

I don't think a whole lot has changed during her tenure. If it disappeared in committees before it probably will again and probably because a lot of the Republicans don't want to vote for or against it.
Also, they like to keep some political footballs in play. As long as Trump doesn't get wound up about it and decide to solve it, which really hurts the House of Representatives politically, it is really good for the Republicans to have this issue perennially in play. They have a good sized chunk of voters for whom this issue represents how Democrats do not even perceive reality.
