I thought Wheeljack had been advertised at the cons with a minicon. Or is that a different version like Hot Shot git?
Mine arrived on Saturday! Haven't had a chance to break into them yet.
So far only SG Sideswipe comes with Minicon, but I wont be surprised to see a Toy colors Wheeljack be released with minicon.
yeah, they specifically cited costs as the reason why wheeljack doesn't come with the minicon
personally i think it's dumb cuz the tooling already exists but whatever i'm not the one in charge of a massive corporation that's beholden to price points for regular retail toys
Hasbro's so cheap now that if they ever have to relocate, you know they're stripping all the copper wiring out of their current HQ first.

And I got Cybertron Drill-Bit from DNA Design.
Though, he's Core class-sized rather than Micromaster-sized like the Legacy Mini-Cons are, as DNA made him before Hasbro made the official Legacy ones, likely not knowing how small they'd be and probably assuming Hasbro would sell the Mini-Cons separately as Core class figures.
But then again, Drill-Bit being bigger does kinda work in a way since he is from the Giant Planet.

Well, this is the reason I gave as to why we didn't have Armada Bumblebee.
I still think Sparkplug was designed to homage Bumblebee and probably would have gotten the name if they could have secured the trademark
Likewise, Hot Shot began as a new Bumblebee in the preliminary stages of his production development.
There's a world where the '07 movie had a roster of Optimus Prime, Hot Shot, Red Alert, X-Brawn, and Skidz.
