I'm kinda torn on Quake, and yeah its due to his colors. I'll probably wait til someone has it in hand; just becuase while the robot mode looks over saturated, some of the tank mode shots make it look darker; maybe not to the degree I like but still might look better. I'd prefer a Maroon and Navy, but I'll take a brick red and deep blue. But After Needlenose and Spinister getting unique molds, him being a remold is kinda disappointing, but at least he's an extensive one.

Slipstream I'm also kinda torn on, but at least she's kinda expected due to having been a Windblade retool previously... I just wish it had kept to the previous' one legnths of being a heavier retool. Its not Chromia "bad/unfitting" but it still feels rather low effort.

I do kind of want those Targetmasters, though. I can see myself buying it to give the Targetmasters to TR Quake and using this new one as his new intern, Aftershock.

I like Quake well enough as an upgrade to the TR figure. I never liked his being a Hardhead repaint. I definitely like the look of this one better in both modes, even if the tank is... that. And he finally gets his partners. Now I hope they get matching partners for Spinister out there somehow.

Slipstream is just disappointing. I knew she would be to some extent just from being a deluxe instead of starting from the seeker tooling, but not even being able to mount her weapons on her arms is frustrating. Her face is pretty bland too. I don't love the old version, but I'm not sold on this one either.

Because it's not Slipstream. At all.

It's Slipstream's colors on Windblade's body. Windblade's body without any retooling is not a Seeker body in any capacity.

And that head is not Slipstream's head. Slipstream is female. That head does not look anything like any head Slipstream has ever had. It's too masculine, resembling some random male dude instead. (EDIT: Having now read Mark's designer commentary, he even admits that the head is just Starscream with new ears. New ears do not make something feminine, Mark!)

This is not Slipstream. Period.

Quake looks decent. Nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done and at least resembles the character.

Okay, Slipstream doesn't look bad, but I am not sold on getting her. Quake, however, does look nice, and I can justify getting him.

While I think that Slipstream is fairly disapointing, with the lack of wing retooling, the lack of any attempt to give her a more accurate chest and not even bothering to slap ports on her arms to mount her guns, I don't think the headsculpt is bad, and I certainly don't think it looks unfeminine.

That said, I'll be glad when we reach next year and not have to annoyingly slap a universe designation onto figures that look nothing like the character from that universe.

Slipsteam is okay in my book. An actual ER Starscream retool would have been better, but I don't have a version of her yet, so this will be her first appearance in my collection/world.

Not fond of that Quake, though. I was really hoping he'd be a new mold. One of my favorite things about G1 Quake was his transformation. The legs wrapping around was cool and unusual. (I actually tried cobbling together a T30 Megatron and CW Warpath at one point to make a version of Quake, because the transformation was about the same.) I might stay with TR Quake, since I have a copy of Adventure "Targetmaster" that I gave to him to be one of his Targetmasters. (My headcanon is that Chasm is the other, reformatted into a Titan Master.)

But here's Quake, a retool from Skullgrin. Both Targetmasters are included, and I dare say that Quake is a DRAMATIC improvement over Skullgrin's lackluster vehicle mode.

I’m very glad we could finally complete the Decepticon double target master trio collection. I’ll post more in hand shots of this guy later today so you can really get a sense of how this guy fits in with the rest!

He was a partial which was challenging due to having the target masters fit in the plan. But I felt they were a must have as somtimes in the past we weren’t able to find a way to fit them in. I really love the robot design attributes of the target master dudes, it was also challenging trying to figure out how to get these guys in there right color deco’s.

The deets for this bad boy are as follows: utilizing the Skullgrin mold foe the partial which really gave him the size he needed to fit alongside Needlenose and Spinister. He has multiple different attachement places for the blast effect compatible target masters. His blast effect compatible turret can swivel with articulation upwards for the cannon. Colors and look are accurate to his character persona. His tank is more of a Sherman speeder tank with attributes of the abrams, mostly details.

So please, do yourself a favor and scan through all the photos. I saw most of you were looking for a voyager scale to be equal with Starscream and I have noted that to the team. But, BUT, this cyberverse styled Slipstream hits hard in hand. If nothing else the colors, the colors, ohhhh the glorious tones of color, what a symphony to the here! I actually dig the petite scale difference with ol SS.

If there is somthing I learned here on @instagram is its the fandom for Transformers is not only a lovable passionate group, but everyone is extremely opinionated! Its near impossible to satisfy everyones wants and needs, you can only go with your gut instinct in the end and hope everyone sees what you were at least trying to accomplish!

Big shouts out to Koki san over in Takara Tomy who worked on this glorious tool! The articulation and transformation is solid, and please take a good look at her backside cause its looking just as good as the front! That super sonic cybertronian influenced jet design tho, it just screams hypersonic speeds beating all sorts of astrocycle tests!

You can see the main differences in final product will be the teal color is metallic in the final product but its NOT metallic here. Also, the canopy is tinted teal in final product but NOT here, it is clear, so for final product, AGAIN, metallic teal and teal tinted cockpit!

I guess people were hoping for a completely new mold instead of taking a existing mold and just changing the head and giving it a new paint job with some guns taken from the Earthrise/Siege seeker molds, I guess they didn't expect people to be so critical of it

I'm always a fan of Slipstream's colors, but that mold just looks really chintzy to me, probably a combination of the Cyberverse aesthetic (not quite a fan) and the shrinkflation on Deluxes in general. Definite pass.

Quake I'm meh on. Obviously the color issue as others have mentioned, but still a possibility it's just the lighting and it'll look better in hand. I am impressed by how much of a retool from Skullgrin he is, and that they managed to fit the Targetmasters into the budget, though admittedly they are pretty skimpy (but basically the same as Needlenose's, right?) and the tank mode kinda resembles a potato. Gonna wait but might get down the line. (Also trying to remember if I got the Titans Return version...)

Why does Slipstream have ears anyway? The head’s already busy enough between the g1 seeker head and the added forehead crest, and Animated and RID don’t have ears either. Is this another Shadowstriker thing?
