Straxus's box art gives us a tiny glimpse at who the fourth and final Marvel Comics-inspired figure will be, and it's someone who has yellow hands and maybe red arms?

At first I was thinking Blaster since he'd be Straxus's rival, but nope, Blaster had blue hands in the comics.

We're finally getting a G1 Scrounge. He'll feature Special Arm detaching ability and a Smelting Pool playset.

But both Xaaron and Scrounge have yellow arms, not orange.

I'm guessing it's another Leader class mold. Trying to think of any recent leader classes that could possibly have this sort of deco and had notable appearances in the comics.

Blaster would make the most sense given the comic version has history with both comic Grimlock and Straxus; plus they could give him the toy head. Also ti would fit with the theme of unconventional Marvel leaders. (Shockwave, Straxus, Grimlock all lead their various factions at one point in time, as did Blaster)

But that fist is definitely the wrong color for that.

Of the reveals this time, honestly, I'm not impresed, or rather out of everything for pre-order, I only ordered two figures:
Stealjaw & Bumblebee, Springer is a pass, I compared him to the siege figure and frankly there wasn't much difference outside of the paint job to warnet buying him as he only got some minor retooling on the shoulders and some extra weaponary from what the pictures show, not caring for the SS Gamer figure reveal and I'm not getting the BB Skywarp either! Straxus I would preorder but Indemand toys didn't have him up for preorder, so I'll have to wait, so frankly, I was far from impressed with what was revealed but then its getting to the point where most major characters had modern updates with only a handful not done or waiting good updates, for example Thunderwing, he needs a update, in the leader class scale, at least!

Edit:
I only just noticed that Straxus was a Hasbro pulse exclusive, explaining why, I couldn't pre-order him from In Demand toys!

There could be some overlap there, with the hand being Xaaron's and the red bit being a piece of kibble from Flame.

Have there been any rumors about a non-comic edition, general retail Straxus? I want to get him, but I could really do without the comic shading dots. At least they aren't nearly as obtrusive as the shading on Shockwave and Grimlock, but I'd still be tempted to hold out if I knew there was another version coming.

Nope. Not in any of the leeks or rumors that have come to light through 2025.

-ZacWilliam, I think it's unlikely myself. Not impossible but he's pretty obscure and the non exclusive lines are probably full. I'd say this is probably it.

FWIW, I understand the desire to keep the discussions of separate toylines separate, but when it comes to the SS86 figures, they kind of only exist in Studio Series to make room for figures that aren't 85-86 G1 dudes in the Legacy line. Does it really hurt to cross-post those reveals when they happen?

I'm not sure I need SS86 Bumblebee, but if it can be retooled into Glyph and Tap-Out (or really any/every other flavor of the Cliff/Bee designs) for future Legacy, Selects (or equivalent), or capsule releases, I think it would be awesome!
