Nobody has the intention to invade Ukraine

I doubt it was intentional... we all know how "accurate" their missiles are. Could even be debris from a missile that was successfully shot down. On the other hand, it was part of a strike seemingly aiming to destroy all power infrastructure for Ukraine's cities.

*edit* yeah, the food being hit is almost certainly unintentional, as this seems to have been their actual intended target, given the focus on the power grid:
#Przewodów is 4-5 km from the only active power line connecting Poland with Ukraine. One of the connections through which Ukraine and Moldova were synchronized with the European power system in February.

Welp... whether by accident or malice: russia has attacked a nato nation, and killed sovereign non-combatants. Good bye cold war, hello world war 3.

It will be extraordinarily difficult to avoid a full on war at this point if NATO holds true to it's core intent. We'll see if anyone blinks, though.

Look, it's going to happen. One of the reasons Putin has made the plays he has is his belief that NATO is surrounding him. He's not wrong. And there is going to come a time when his army of children's actions will directly harm a member state. It will probably be sheer incompetence that does it, not a directed attack, but the consequences will follow.

To be fair: NATO is intent on NOT having to mobilize it's troops, so unless the mistake involve descriptors like "megaton" or "glowing crater" or "hundreds of thousands dead", they'll more than likely respond with finger wagging and sanctions if they can get away with it.

You know, so long as it genuinely is an accident. What happened in poland was terrible (and let's be real: it only actually happened BECAUSE russia invaded ukraine.), but it's not worth going to war over.

Allowing people in wartorn countries to communicate with each other and the outside world is literally the one good thing Twitter ever did for humanity. So naturally Musk had to get rid of that.

Well, that and he's actively trying to throw the war in Russia's favor for reasons we still haven't figured out but boy howdy I'd sure like to find out, preferably via several days in a CIA torture chamber.

I understand that it's not me fighting for the ukraine... but I am fine with that outcome. The only people in the world in which that statement is in russia's favour are complete and utter tools like tucker carlson and the American insurrectionists and their fascist ilk.

One of the trending tags on Twitter the last couple of days has been about how the Russian government is going to force everyone to put their savings into war bonds, and everyone in Russia is trying to get their savings out of the banks at once. Frankly, it's Twitter, so it could be anything from true to some paid-for disinformation campaign.

So hey: what do you call half a million unarmed people being sent to ukraine?

A refugee crisis.

Russia is apparently preparing for another round of conscription, with an upper limit of 500 000 troops. But since we already know they're out of ******* guns, they're going to send half a million people to ukraine to kind of just mill around and act like ablative meat.
