Nobody has the intention to invade Ukraine

Getting a wanted world figure to a location where he would be subject to prosecution sounds like the plot of a Mission: Impossible episode.

In fact, I'm pretty sure it was at one point.

The operation to force putin into a position where he could be arrested: yeah, pretty much mission impossible. If that kind of intervention was even possible, then they wouldn't need a complicated operation to get him into a place where they could attempt to arrest him, they would just arrest him.

It's also why ICC warrants do not expire, and why they are respected in the majority of the world. When he sets foot outside of russia, china, iran... most of the places he's mostly likely to go (if he ever gets the nerve to leave russia again.), those countries are also legally bound to attempt arrest. Even if he's never caught, putin is pretty much under house arrest.

I mean... he still has a standard of living that most russians couldn't even dream of, but, house arrest.

How are they so bad at this?
Like, sure, it'll fool some. ****, some people believe Alex Jones for Chrissake, but no one will give this more than 2 minutes of thought without calling it what it is, BS.

How? Because Putin believes he farts fairy dust and gold.

Ironbite-he hasn't yet realized he's completely lost control.

It's not BS. It's an official statement that's legally binding in many of the world's countries. The only "main" countries that aren't part of this agreement are (not surprisingly) the USA, China and Russia (who have fairly active militaries and who stand the most to lose due to that).

Here's more info about how the ICC's actions could affect Russia, it's citizens or even Putin (in the future):

-
...(T)he issuing of the warrant remains a highly significant moment for a number of reasons. It sends a signal to senior Russian officials – military and civilian – who may be vulnerable to prosecution either now or in the future and would further limit their ability to travel internationally, including to attend international forums...

...While Putin seems secure in his power now and safe from extradition, a future Kremlin leader may decide it is more politic to send him to The Hague than to protect him.

A good example is Slobodan Milošević, the former president of Yugoslavia, who was indicted on a series of war crimes charges by the international criminal tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in the midst of the war in Kosovo in 1999...

...Human Rights Watch described the decision to issue an arrest warrant for Putin as a “wake-up call to others committing abuses or covering them up”.

Balkees Jarrah, associate international justice director at the NGO, said: “With these arrest warrants, the ICC has made Putin a wanted man and taken its first step to end the impunity that has emboldened perpetrators in Russia’s war against Ukraine for far too long.”..

The "BS" part you quoted was in response to the Russian propaganda that alleges Ukrainian soldiers are deliberately desecrating the Quran.

Because they don't need to sell the BS to the opposition: they're selling the BS to the supporters. And, my dudes, after decades of propaganda and brainwashing, it's a soft ******* sell. They don't need anyone else to believe it because those hard line supporters will then go out and scream it as gospel.

Literally the same trick trump uses in the states.

Edit: It's not about converting people to the cause, it's about PREVENTING conversion against it.

Russia has announced that it is no longer sharing nuclear data required by treaty with the US. The US responded with, "well fine, we won't either".

Putin really wants to destroy the world on his way out the door.

It's all he has left. He wants to be remembered as an important man, even if it kills his country.

And again: even putin knows that so much as refueling a nuclear capable missile will result in the end of russia. Literally any action taken using any kind of actual nuclear weapon (and depleted uranium rounds don't count, russia is just salty they don't have them.) means that NATO and just about everyone else will be ******* running each other over in the race to conquer moscow. Imagine "cannonball run" but with tanks.

Russia cannot win in ukraine, defeat is inevitable if a ways off yet, consequently the world knows that russia cannot win anywhere else either. No one is scared of russia anymore, and because of the sanctions they don't even have economic clout to bully people with. This is literally just putin trying to look like a big ******* man with what little international political options he has left and no one is falling for it.

Hey, seems like ukraine has been offered an opportunity. Wagner, if nothing else, are mercenaries. If ukraine offered to PAY THEM to protect russia, and all they have to do is LEAVE ukraine and never come back: wagner will probably take it and use that coin in a campaign against putin.

Not entirely sure why the mercenary group leader who is looking to overthrow Putin is posting updates online so that Putin knows what they are doing, but maybe it's misdirection?
