Hollywood is on Strike

I just wish the writers held out longer. The effect this is having on studios is far more entertaining than their output these days.

I hope that when the actors finally get a deal, somebody else immediately begins striking so this keeps going. Maybe the VFX artists. They have been seriously abused in recent years, and the studios do not know how to function without them.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

Hear me out here, I got a wild idea, but it's so crazy it might. Just. Work.

Nation wide... valet strike.

I'd be okay with having a statute of limitations on it. I would love to see this technology used to recreate some lost film scenes. But what studios are asking for here is nuts.
Yea, say maybe 50 years. By that time even the actor's children are likely dead.

Basically I want to AI the cast of the English version of Dracula (1931) into footage from the Spanish version. I feel like that would be entirely harmless.

Best not to question such things. One might not like the answer.

If CoffeeHorse can have that, can I have Fight Club with the cast of The Goonies?

Also, it looks like the strike might be done.

I have read NOTHING!

But I guess the tentative deal didn't go far enough on the AI stuff, cause they seemed like they were happy with the money.
