That just the state of the rich these days: the ones that could be considered as "motivated" to actually doing some good are so incompetent and narcissistic that even if they were ******* superheroes, they would be the worst heroes, and all eventually turn into lex luthor just cause we won't stop making fun of them for sucking.

Apparently the portrayal of the Tony Stark character from the MCU movies was inspired by Musk:

After the meeting, they decided to use Elon Musk as "inspiration" in their portrayal of Tony Stark on screen. And for Iron Man 2, the Tesla CEO also made an on-screen cameo appearance and allowed some of the filming to occur at SpaceX.

Glad to see we got to him with the classic "Not sure what Putin's got on you Blood Diamond Boy, but here's some compromising photos we can put out on Twitter at any time."

Musk really thinks he's as witty as Tony Stark, doesn't he? It's like how Trump models his entire schtick on Howard Stern.

Putin has declared martial law in the annexed regions, and ordered an "evacuation" (read: deportion) of civilians.

Weren't they pretty much under martial law anyway for all intents and purposes? It was occupied territory after all, at least according to everyone except the Putin regime, Kim Jong-un and Khamenei.

The fact he's just straight up kidnapping huge swaths of people is disconcerting. Like does he really think if he relocates them in remote areas of Russia they'll just be good little citizens?

Forced relocation and "resettlement" is a standard tactic of assimilation since Dynastic Egypt at least.

It allows a (would-be-)king to say "this territory belongs to us --see, we have citizens living there!" As for good citizens, they will work (or they will starve), they will pay taxes (or they will go to jail just like any citizen), and they will submit to the laws of the land (or, again, they will go to jail), and their children will be educated as proper citizens (with or without the consent of their parents, who, after all, may be in prison).

America isn't the only country with a poverty-to-prison system of slavery.

Remember kids: Vote in November because GOP control of the House or Senate means an end to our contributions to that 90K dead Russian soldiers, because McCarthy will never fund it.

I'm amazed Putin's checks are still clearing to facilitate such loyalty in the Republicult.
