So I was watching the blu-ray version, and at the moment when Skids and Mudflap are holding on for dear life during Devastator's "vacuum" attack... a newspaper article gets caught on the pole they're holding on to that says, "Mysterious Robot Spotted".

And it's Shockwave! It appears to be the same model used in the 2007 game.

I had to go back and pause at just the right moment to see it, but I was very happy to see him (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

Wait a minute. Do not associate this thing in the picture with any delicious food. As a matter of fact, it is even inedible. It is a pair of shorts with meat pattern printed on it. Next time you go to supermarket for meat, you should be careful. Shorts are not delicious even though they come with meat patterns.

That's cool, but really only serves to stoke my rage for him not getting a toy in the 2007/08 line. He better be in TF3. He can be like the guy who shows up at the Nemesis, while Megatron, Soundwave, and Starscream are licking their wounds, and says, "Ok, Decepticons. Here's what we do. I'll beat the crap out of you and then unify Cybertron with the Matrix."


Or something.

I guess they can have him be the guy who figures out how to beat Unicron and has to convincingly talk the Autobots into helping them with the Matrix.

By the way, all Unicron TF3 talk is pure speculation on my part....

He lacks the back kibble and some other Shockblast details. Looks more like G1 Shocky to me, but with someone or something in front of him that can be mistaken for Shockblast's bigger arm.

Definitely not movie Shockwave though. The chest is wrong and he lacks all the shoulder kibble.
