Music...with SPOONS! And other objects! Someone remembers when Stomp was big!

"SQUEE!" Candi's so excited only certain breeds of dogs can hear her!

The hooves do be tingling! Right into the cocoa. Man, Cocoa really needs to learn to wash her hooves.

Everybody, stop your working! It's dance party time, now!

Pearla wants nothing to do with your cocoa! Rude.

What a...wide variety of dance moves that are on display, right here. And some of them are almost moving to the beat.

They shut off the electricity because they didn't think anyone was still living in this town, anymore.

...Or because no one's working at the local power plant. Everyone in town is here at this dance party.

But, none of you are even wet, yet. You don't NEED mane dryers right now. Who knew that was a necessity?

Finley is HERE for the zombie apocalypse! Anything to finally FEEL something!

Pearla NEEDS this party to keep going...for some reason.

Time to bust out the trusty, ol' timey crank-powered victrola!

Cocoa has chosen violence! The power's out, so the riot's in!

A "stomp and bash" sounds like something the police would be concerned about. If this town had police.

This music is GARBAGE! (...because of the garbage can lids, you see...)

Bailey passed her banjo, her bongos, and her bugle. She needs none of those. Only the majesty of the SPOONS can truly communicate her feelings!

...It's a good thing you're pretty Pearla. Because your musical talent is a bit lacking.

It's the sweat that really helps bring out the musical potential of the yoga mats.

That's right Finley, play the flamingo! Play it like your life depends on it! Squeeze it gently, but firmly! As the ancient masters taught you!

"Perfect! MAYBE!?" I like the enthusiasm!

This is what it looks like when a horse society breaks down. It's...not so different from how they act normally, I guess.

Rock me, Amadeus!

Okay, someone needs to edit these head-banging clips to different music. May I suggest "What is Love?".

Man, it must be a real pain to have to lug all this stuff to different locations over and over again. Eh...still beats work, I guess.

*Finley rocking the air guitar* This episode is just a goldmine for out-of-context gifs.

...Where did this crowd come from? Who are these horses? I guess that's how you know it's a imaginary sequence. No way are there this many horses living in this town.

I bet the town chiropractor got some good business, with all the sore necks those girls must have after all that head-banging they just did.

Way to go Cocoa. You broke the illusion. Now, get back to work.

Kicking with her back hooves doesn't seem like the most natural way to do this. Come on, animators. Have some fun here.

I'm not wondering at all. This seems like a completely normal Tilly thing to do.

Bailey is getting bored.

Soccer. Not polo. Come on, horse show. Even Tales got that right.

Is that what Bridget's personality is supposed to be? I like it. Cocoa, please stop explaining it.

Baily and Tilly on the same team. This is rigged.

Or, just Tilly on one team seems to be enough.

Poor Tilly. Her special talent particular gift is winning things, but she lives in a dead town where there's no one to compete with and everyone kinda resents her. Starlight had a point.

I got an ear flop! I'll call it good.

I got two ear flops!

How in the heck did Cocoa and Bridget catch up? Soccer is embarrassingly obviously rigged.

You put it up while I was writing out my reactions. XD

Okay Tilly being a ball hog.
*After bonk* Who's Tilly? OMG talking horses!
I really want the others to ask who Coco is talking to one of these times.
NOICE
I'd argue about her just randomly closing her store down to go play soccer, but let's face it, They have half the town in the store right now.
I haven't gone back to check old episodes yet, but I swear Cheerie looks different.
Yeah she's really bad at trash talk. Meanwhile I'm very good at it. Check it:

Rotten eggs, empty carton, banana peel, moldy cheese! Yeah!

Let's flip a horse shoe to find out who goes first. (I actually like the design of it a bit)

Call it!
"Head trauma"
Head tra? *has it fall on them* BONK!

They are REALLY bad goalies. You are supposed to try and STOP the ball. Not dodge it. That's a different game.

Seriously why did you even invite them?

You continue to be bad goalies.

It's fine.

Wow! Way to get the ball into that undefended net, Tilly! What SKILL! And everyone in this town is SO BORED that they're all just watching this because they have nothing better to do with their lives.

Grievous injury?! Finally, something interesting is happening!

Is this a amnesia episode? Is that what we're doing?

"What can I get you, Bailey?" "Some excitement?" Sorry, fresh out. Would you settle for some sitcom shenanigans?

"NOICE!" That's a nice "NOICE"!

Nobody in this town wants to pretend to work today.

They call her "Cocoa Puff" because she's coo-coo! Y'know...because she's talking to US, the audience, all the time.

I've heard Kindergartners with better trash talk. Really mean Kindergartners...*snff*....

That horseshoe actually sounded pretty solid when it landed. Someone would get hurt flipping that thing.

Huh...Tilly's "shirt" doesn't go between her forelegs. That's...weird, but I'm not sure if that's a real thing with horse "clothes" or not.

Cocoa, why are you checking your phone for messages? Everyone you know is RIGHT HERE!

No one even wants to TRY and stop Tilly, anymore. Time to practice some dancin'!

"I just figured they should get at least ONE point" Wow. Just...wow. Ugh...she's...insufferable.

To be fair, they're the ones who kind of stopped playing. They kind of seem afraid of getting hit by the ball, frankly.

But...it's a 2 on 2 game. Unless the referee starts playing.

That's the fourth most passive-aggressive whistling I've ever heard.

Oh wow, everyone's having so much more fun...without Tilly. That really SHOULD be a blow to her ego.

So, I guess Cocoa's paying for the drinks?

Wait, Cherie doesn't get post-game cocoa? Why not? She played, too!

I do wonder how they got Candi on board in the first place.

"No phones?! Candi out!"

Oh come on Candi! Yeah give in to peer pressure Candi!

Maybe we'll find a mountain and name it after you Candi! Then we'll go see our friend Charlie-

Look at this tree!

"I'd like to be a tree" Fluttershy

Yeah don't call out to make sure you're following your friends or anything.

"Ugh, I just want my phone" Yeah Candi is the current generation.

"Trotenstien!"

"Ah! Giant killer squirl!"

Okay I'm kinda with Candi though. Have you never seen/read any horror story? Never follow the weird noise.

Why would Bridget be surprised to see Candi? You DITCHED them you jerk.

Not bad.

They're not in town. Neat.

Innawoods episode!

She changed the segue. Neat.

I would not like camping. There's bugs and dirt out there.

She could still record and just upload later. She probably uses some dumb cloud app. Let this be a valuable lesson, kids. You want locally hosted programs.

It looks like all the other trees.

Twitcha twitch.

This is a thing. Mosquitos are absolutely drawn to some people more than others.

She looks so tired already.

Wow. Even my sense of direction is better than that.

"I'll wait right here." Pfffft.

"I just want my phone." +1 voice acting.

Squirrels can be surprisingly ferocious.

Startled horse rearing. However this ends, I'm happy.

They put some effort into that ear movement.

It's too late. They've already stolen your friend's voice.

Bridget and Perla knew they were out there and made absolutely no attempt to make contact. Great.

I'll give this episode props. Candi was the designated complainer but I sympathized with her the whole way. That's competent writing. Plus the voice acting was very good, and even the animation was lively at times.

Please renew this show. It is trying to get good.

Horses in the woods? That's just unnatural. Seeing them outside of their natural habitat of cocoa shops and bakeries is just plain weird.

I forgot they even HAD a forest! No wonder it's easy to get lost out there, no one ever goes out there. Wait...does that explain why this town is seemingly cut off from the rest of horse civilization? Is THAT why it's so dead in town? They're surrounded by their equivalent of Everfree?

When all else fails YELL REAL LOUD!

The dancing horse also loves camping. That's a unexpected layer to her character. I doubt it'll ever come up again, but it's nice that they're trying to make them more three-dimensional.

As the defacto mayor of this town, Candi MUST be involved in all activities. It's the law. And it's not like there's much else to do, anyway.

No phone, no life. C'mon, Candi, you already learned this lesson once.

Yeah, that's...ummm...some tree? I can't blame them, they're working on a budget.

To be fair, I'm kind of with Candi on this one. Nature and it's mosquito's are not for everyone.

The mosquito's took her. She's one of them now.

"I'll wait right here." That's kind of a cute sitting position. And, honestly? It's not a bad idea for one person to stay in place, in case the other one comes wandering by where you just were.

Candi has a point. If their phones worked, they could just call Bridgette.

"Maybe she wised up and went HOME" I appreciate the sass.

Pfft, Trottenstein nest in castles, not woods. What you REALLY need to worry about are the Were-horses.

"A giant KILLER squirrel." Meh, even regular squirrels are pretty nasty if you get too close.

Candi's seen enough horror movies to know what's up.

Candi has trained her entire life for this day.

Pearla?! Oh no, what horror of technology is she unleashing on the creatures in the woods? By next week, they're going to have to worry about cyborg-squirrels.

Ahh...the best way to enjoy nature. By not being out in nature at all. That's a great lesson for kids, teach them that young.

This one felt like an episode of a normal cartoon. Not a particularly ambitious cartoon, but still. I'm grading this show on a curve, but this episode didn't feel as much like I'm grading it on a curve.
