So it only took about three days, but the republicans have come up with a plan! (an actual plan! From the people who couldn't even come up with a policy platform!) to ensure they don't lose the next election. They're going to RAISE the voting age to 21.

Yup. So you just turned 18: you want to smoke? Nope. Want a drink? HA! Nope! Want to vote? Also no. But hey: you can buy a weapon of war, and get drafted for the grinder. And if you survive to 21, THEN you can vote.

That's how the constitutional amendment guaranteeing the right to vote for everyone over 18 got passed in the first place.
And nothing besides another amendment can raise the age.

And imagine how annoyed the people who turned 18 this year would be at the Republican party after Republicans prevent them from voting in 2024. They would turn an entire year's worth of voters against them for the rest of time.
