The House has approved a bill to slash the time it takes for newly unionized workers to get a first contract. The measure allows for government intervention if a deal is not reached within 90 days.

tl;dr Trump refused to sign some bipartisan housing bill the Republican congresscritters were planning to use to boost their midterm approval numbers unless they kill the Filibuster and pass his voting restriction bill. He also yelled at them a bunch in a closed door session.

ALso looks like we have another Government shutdown coming up in September.

Eh, a little off I think. That particular bit was added during the Biden admin, so its more "morons find one more climate protection to undo" Because lets be honest it probably wan't on their radar until this brought it up, and most of them probably do think its communism.
