What stupid thing did the GOP say or do this time? Episode 3!

Haven't found any nazi jive at my grandparents place that I live in now. Just a whole bunch of leatherbound Zane Grey and Louis Lamor books.
Lucky!

My grandfather just left behind a cache of guns and ammo in his ceiling. For some reason. And some bags of money in a drawer he nailed shut. For some reason.

...

And yeah, one Nazi knife.
The knife could’ve been spoils of war smuggled back after VE Day. That’s the least-worst explanation. :/ I mean I remember reading somewhere that the Walther P-38, the G1 Megatron gun, was often owned by American WWII veterans who’d taken them off living-impaired Nazi officers.

(Thankfully my grandparents had no nazi stuff in their possession after their deaths, for very obvious reasons.)

Only upshot is the Senate ripped a bunch of stuff out of it before sending it back down to the house. It could have been worse.... Shudder the thought.

And here we go with this dance again:

1. Republican knowingly tells lie to gin up the base, with zero concern for how ignorant it makes them look.
2. Base happy to be told lie they want to believe, reinforcing their support for Republican.
3. Democrats "dunk" on Republican like that accomplishes something besides making them feel smart.
4. Repeat ad infinitum until humanity goes extinct.

At this point I really believe they're just testing how low they can go. Just how dumb their voting block really is.
Time and again they demonstrate that the lives of other people mean nothing to them. They'd rather push asinine conspiracies than accept that they've done something wrong.

It truly amazes me the mental leaps their followers make in order to continue to imagine these ghouls have their best interests at heart.

Not surprising that Ms Jewish Space Laser is spewing that nonsense. Scary part is that we are nearing the point where geoengineering will be the only option left to reverse climate change and we don't really have the tech to do that.

And putting "express purpose" in there is so that it doesn't criminalize what fossil fuel companies are knowingly doing.

Which means she also knows climate change is real, and wants to make it illegal to do anything about it.
I don't know if she thinks she can profit off of it, or if she wants to let the world get ruined for doomsday cult reasons,

Or she knows that her party won't control the government forever, and wants to preempt Democrats using it as a pretense to prosecute oil companies without having to pass any laws of their own first. Because lord knows the Democrats in Congress are utterly incapable of taking decisive action on this front.

I am not deep in the facts here, but on the surface I feel like people are trying to catch someone in a lie and screwing up. They didn't say there was NEVER a client list. They just said there isn't one and that all seems to me to make a lot of sense.

Yeah, there was no way that list with Trump's name all over it could peacefully coexist in the same world as paper shredders and/or cigarette lighters.
