Also, they just suck. Japanese cars are pretty much superior across the board.
Not defending the right... but american cars (despite always being absolute hogs.) used to be worthwhile. They were rugged, hard to kill, easy to fix. You could do minimal maintenance and still have it run for 20 years. Hell, there's an 69 ford f100 running around up here being used as a work truck for a landscaping company.
Old American trucks were solid workhorses that would outlive your grandchildren and still get the job done with a little care. Modern American trucks are gas-sucking piles of crap that exist to show the world just how much you're compensating for, until they fall apart when you try to actually use them like a truck.

It's been obvious all along that half of them are full-on cultists and the other half are opportunists who pay lip service just to advance their own careers. The mask is slipping lately, but they're still not actually gonna do anything to stop him unless their own jobs come under threat.
I'd be willing to bet that the number of politicians who are full-on cultists is very low. The majority are opportunists, the rest are scared that the brownshirts will come after them.

Indeed. Heck, even with Elvis people insisted he was alive DECADES after he had died. These are the same people who thought after the 2020 election that JFK Jr would come out of hiding(despite him being dead for over 20 years at the time) and help Trump kick Biden out.
