From what I've thumbed through since last night, it's pretty good. It has the strips themselves as well as some history. I've been enjoying it.

I think that's what they call irony.

The series set came yesterday. I was able to get a couple episodes in before exhaustion of the day took over and I fell asleep.

It was surprisingly good. Wednesday is very different from any depiction she gets today, but it totally worked. So I definitely look forward to binging this.

Okay, so I'm not even through with the first episode of the second season yet. But there's just one thing I think I should note.

This is a show where there is a lot of deaths. The first character I see when we finally reach the Academy is played by Steve Buscemi.

Not having made it past the first episode yet, I feel like this would be a good time to make a deadpool. Who can get closest to without going over? Any wagers? Umm...all for fun of course. Not sure what the board rules are for monetary gambling and I'd rather not push the FAFO button. Just a friendly little game.

I'll say he'll survive until the third episode.

I get the feeling they're doing it because they're catching on to people (like me) who resubscribe for one month to watch the newest seasons of shows and then cancel again. Don't like it, but yeah, you can blame me.

Saw three eps of season 2. I kinda loved ep1 cuz I'm a wannabe writer and I related to Wednesday going after her book.

Second ep was also great, with the 'Play dead' clue, which I would never have figured out but Wednesday did. Same with the book that wasn't seen. I like these clever escape room bits.

Third ep had the competition, which I enjoyed well enough for the chance of place. I actually got invested with the new friend of Pugsley and I can't wait for him to speak his mind.

The deaths tho, dang. I didn't like the Event Horizon no eyes thing in recent Trek Strange New Worlds ep and I'm not fond of it here. Also, I hate that my person of interest is a humanitarian, ugh.

Also, cool on Thing getting some respect.

Hope the 4th ep is good too.

I finished the last half of Season 2.

Enid:
The moment the whole thing dropped about the possibility of Enid being stuck in her wolf form after the full moon, it would be an inevitability. Still, pretty sad since she's my favorite character next to Wednesday. Still, I'm pretty sure that's just leaving a cliffhanger for next season.

Thing:
I don't know, man. I kinda had the feeling during the support group part that they were actually going to give Thing an origin story. But I was really hoping they wouldn't. There are some things you just don't do. You don't let Wolverine remember his past. You don't kill Splinter. And you just do not give Thing an origin story. It just isn't done.

*sigh*

I guess now that it's happened, we can do what he did and just leave the past in the past. Still, probably my least favorite part.

Oh...and maybe I lost supremely on my prediction of when Buscemi would die. He lasted a lot longer than I thought. But of course he did eventually die.

Like seriously, I can only personally remember 2 movies where he lived till the end...well...maybe three. But two of them have some serious asterisks. Reservoir Dogs he walked out of the building and we didn't see him again. But most people (including me) are pretty sure we can here him having a snaffu with the cops as soon as he leaves and he just dies off screen. Armageddon, yeah he lives, but he's also in some deep debt to a loan shark. Soooooo...yeah. 28 Days seems to be the only movie I've ever seen him in where he undeniably lives.

I guess now it's time to cancel my Netflix subscription until next season.

Oh I'm going to review s2 part2 with a friend but I kinda loved enjoyed it, haha.

The season really has this thing where they introduce a mystery problem and solve it in two eps.

Stalker note - two eps
Bird - two eps
Part 2
Spoiler - two eps
Spoiler - one ep
Spoiler - one ep

My fave character is the third musketeer. Like, seriously, super awesome. Second musketeer though, honestly, if they were smarter, they really could have done it without the consequence.

I actually loved the other ... thing you mentioned. Just the surprise got me.

Loved the season's dance.

Loved the old cartoon trope they used. While it was cliche, it was sorta needed for the character development?

I thought it went too fast but quite enjoyable, really. Would have wanted more Slurp before him eating people. I liked the Pugsley plot line but he didn't go do too much, too bad. He didn't even meet Fester and had electro powers training, cmon.
