Posted for a bunch of reasons, such as I'd like to show off my one talent, and the fact I don't really know what to do with this yet.

I've been trying to write more, and sometimes I'll get a dumb idea that I have to put to words. This is one such idea:

The premise is basically me wanting to write my own isekai thing, given I'm still really into that. Of course isekai is the 'done to death' thing right now, but I got a dumb idea. What if the powers the person gets in this isekai fantasy world. Are cartoon/loony tunes powers?

Dus we have "My abilities in this isekai are a little looney"

“Happy three-month anniversary, Benny,” a lone figure whispered as he stared at his reflection in his drink. Chugging it down, he almost smiled at the irony of it. What was once a generic alcoholic beer, he’d changed into basic root beer instead. All thanks to the power granted to him by the gods that reincarnated him into this world. To the onlookers in the little broken-down pub he’d found himself in, he’d appear to be drinking away his worries like most of the rest in this place.

Taking another delicious gulp, he smiled. Let them get drunk while he remained sober.

That was the thing about his situation. Even if he cared for the taste of alcohol, he dared not. Not in this town. Border of the Elmeister Empire, it might be, that didn’t mean there weren’t tons of prejudiced dipwits walking around. Any one of them would turn him in in a heartbeat if they suspected his true nature.

Thankful it was also on the border of a desert, which meant the orange shawl he wore over his head wasn’t out of place, though he bet some found it strange he didn’t remove it to drink. He made sure to keep an eye out for anyone staring too long. He didn’t want any trouble. He was already taking a risk using a straw. He wasn’t sure that was something that even existed in this world.

Pulling at the shawl, he winced. He hated how muffled it made the world around him to have to hide his rabbit ears under it. At least sitting in this corner, people wouldn’t notice the little pouch strategically positioned on his rear to hide his fluffy tail. When walking here, he had to consciously take heavy steps so as not to give away his natural nibleness.

It was the same in most of the Empire, or so he’d heard. That’s why he got isekaied here in the first place. The gods wanted him to help fix the broken views of the people. Beast folk were never meant to be lesser creatures. Never meant to be inferior, but as typical in these worlds, if he was to go off other iseaki stories he’d read, the humans had subjugated any human/ animal hybrid into beings not unlike slaves or pets.

It was sickening.

Thankfully, not all places were like this. In fact the farther away you got from this cesspool, the more you’d find the humans and beast folk living in harmony. It was quite the contrast to here, but here is where he was needed. All he had to do was keep a low profile.

CRASH!

“You stupid cat!” Benny heard a man bellow. Unable to help himself, he turned to see a small, meek-looking girl kneeling over two spilled mugs of beer, looking terrified. At a glance, one might think she was nothing more than a young lady, no older than fourteen if he had to guess. She had black hair, as any normal person would. Except she also sported two things humans wouldn’t. A long cat tail and a pair of cat ears.

A beast person slave.

“All you have to do is carry the mugs TO the table and not drop them!” A rather mean and greasy-looking man screamed at the terrified little girl. As for the man he had fiery red hair that included a big rough beard on his face. He wore what you’d expect from a bar owner in a seedy bar. White-stained shirt, stained tan apron around his waist. Black pants that, if they were stained, it was hard to tell on the dark fabric. He held a large butcher knife in his right hand. Making it so no one dared challenge him. Benny couldn’t help but notice that only a couple of the many patrons showed any sort of concern.

He was disgusted with the many who didn’t care, and yet didn’t blame those who might keep quiet. The guy looked nearly like a red-haired version of Bluto. Any normal person who went up against him would likely get killed.

Meanwhile, the poor cat girl was on her stomach, desperately trying to clean up the spill with her own shirt. A tattered rag that might have been white at some point in time. Now it was a dirty brownish rag that barely covered her chest. Her ‘skirt’ wasn’t much better. In fact if you asked him, Benny would say that it resembled Cinderella’s dress after her evil sisters ripped it apart.

“Are you listening to me trash?” The big man continued to shout, slamming his foot down on her back. The poor girl yelped in pain before quickly covering her mouth in fear.

“Was that you talking back?” The man asked, his voice growing cold. The girl shook her head.

“What? I can’t hear you!” The man screamed, his mouth twisting into a horrible grin.

“Itth horrible, ithn’t it?” He heard from his right. There sat a woman covered in a brown cloak. She spoke with a weird lisp, but her distaste was clearly heard. She was among the few who had shown disdain earlier.

“Bathtard knowth thhe can’t talk, but taketh pleathure in tormenting her over it.” She continued, her teeth grinding.

“She can’t speak?” Benny asked quietly. The woman shook her head.

“Penny ith mute.” The woman growled. “And that monthter Thord loveth that thhe can’t talk back.”

So that’s what it was. The man was still towering over the poor girl, bellowing his anger. The poor girl was so scared. It twisted his heart.

“You don’t seem to agree with him.”

The woman clenched her own mug so tightly the handle cracked. “Of courthe not! It’th dethpicable! Treating my kind like thith!”

Benny sat quietly, watching the events with his own bit of rage building. “I thought I sensed a kindred spirit in you.”

“Am I correct in thinking you’re a beatht perthon like me?”

“You are.” He replied simply. As a bunny, he didn’t have an amazing sense of smell like some of his fellow beast folk, but even he could pick up the slight scent of feline on her. A cat person, just like the poor tortured girl before them.

“I’ve been thcoping thith place out for dayth,” she nearly whispered. It was only thanks to his ears that he could hear her, muffled by cloth or not. “I want to take her away but it'th impoththible. He watcheth Penny like a hawk…”

“I think you need a lesson!” The man named Thord suddenly cried as he pulled out a small vial from his coat. The crowd cheered as he uncorked it. Benny braced himself, while his feline companion shifted in her seat. What was he trying to do? Should he try to stop it? It didn’t look like anyone else would. His catwoman friend clearly wanted to, but she likely had the same conclusion he did. There was no way to fight off the entire bar.

Benny winced as he watched the fear on the young one’s face. He had a possibility to help, but would it work in a room this crowded?

“You know what trash does?” The man asked Penny. “It stinks! That’s why we call it trash! So maybe instead of a cat, you’re a skunk!” With that, he began to pour the liquid upon her head, slowly moving it down the middle of her back. The girl screamed in pain as the substance smoked upon contact, but she dared not move. A few of the onlookers avoided their gaze, while others, far too many, relished in the sight. His friend lurched forward. She wanted to help so badly, but was likely too afraid of her interference causing further harm to Penny.

“Now keep still so I can get your entire back.” The man laughed as he removed his foot from her so he could douse her without harming himself. “Move, and I might just get this all in your eyes.”

He said that last part with such cruelty. Benny couldn’t take it anymore. He cursed himself for holding out this long. Risk be damned, he was NOT going to stand by and watch this!

Taking a quick glance at his menu screen, he confirmed his time. Forty minutes left. That’s what he had left of the hour he was granted. The hour wouldn’t recharge till sunrise. Those were the conditions. This could get close to ten minutes of usage. He’d be down to a half hour. He was in enemy territory, and those minutes could cost him.

Yet watching as the asshole gripped her tail so he could finish pouring the stuff down it, what choice did he have?

“Hey boss!” He cried, suddenly standing next to the bar area. His shawl is gone. His ears were in full view, yet no one batted an eye. That was the power of his Toon Time. He could do so much like in the cartoons he grew up watching, though only if he’d unlocked the ability first.

Thankfully, ‘silly disguise’ was one of the first things he got.

“Huh? What is it?” Thord asked, not seeming to realize that he didn’t have another waiter, let alone a male one.

“Table five wants a blueberry, whipped cream pie!”

Thord blinked for a moment before nodding and heading toward the bar. Good, he was too dumb to fight the ToonTime. He likely wasn’t a high level either. The smarter and higher level someone was, the easier it was to break free of the effects. Hence, why it was such a risk. If any of these louts were strong enough, they could easily point him out.

“Right one blueberry and whipped cream pie!” The ass called as his hands worked to make it. Benny often wondered if they always had the ingredients, or if they just appeared, so he could trap them in this joke.

“Pick up pie!” The man yelled. Benny quickly took it.

“Rodger!” He called, walking away, only to go around a pillar and walk right back. “Your pie, sir!”

Naturally, he threw the thing in the oaf’s face. Thord looked shocked for a second before the anger began to set in. Benny wouldn’t give him enough time to break free.

“One lemon meringue, with whipped cream pie!” He shouted. This should be interesting; he wasn’t even sure if this world knew what lemon meringue even was.

“One lemon meringue with whipped cream pie!” Thord repeated as he quickly made it, all traces of the anger gone. Good, it was still working, though Benny really wanted to know what Thord would think later when he thought back to this. Would he question how he knew how to make a pie? He didn’t think this was part of the normal menu.

“Pick up pie!”

“Rodger!” Benny yelled as he took it. Once more, he rounded the pillar before throwing it in the guy’s face again. “Your pie, sir!”

This time Benny could practically see the steam coming from the man’s head. Honestly, with Toon Time active, he was surprised that it didn’t really happen.

“Why you-”

“One gravel and whipped cream pie!” Benny cried before Thord could complete his sentence.

“One gravel and whipped cream pie!” The oaf repeated as he began to work on it. Sadly, the problem with Looney Time was that it had to follow the same rules as the cartoons, and given that this was the third time Benny had tried this, it was time the man became fully aware of what was happening. Benny wouldn’t be able to do this again, nor would he be able to even get that pie.

Thankfully, he’d planned for that, hence the gravel part.

“Hey, wait a minute! Gravel? Who the hell even are y-” The man screamed before finding his head shoved into the unfinished pie. Benny had made sure he had time to grind that bastard’s face into it. The moment he let up, he made sure to dash away to stand outside the bar. He took extra care to be by one of the pieces of human garbage who had been verbally enjoying Penny’s torture from earlier.

“He did it! He did! I saw it! I saw it! It was him!” Benny cried, jumping and pointing at the jerk next to him. Though the man looked confused, Thord didn’t hesitate.

“A wise guy huh?” He shouted, winding his fist back. Before the guy next to him could blink, Thord punched him so hard he flew several feet backward to crash into some other guys near the back. Their nearby companions began to laugh, which only angered them.

“Oh yeah?” One yelled as he picked up a stool and smacked one of the laughing people in the face with it. It took mere seconds for the bar to erupt in a fight. Just what Benny was hoping for.

Shutting off Toon Time, he picked up Penny and hopped out the door. Poor girl was too surprised to do anything as she just kinda froze up in his arms.

He made his way up to the rooftop and jumped away, sadly catching a few eyes as he did, but he needed to get this girl away from here. He only hoped the other catperson managed to slip out in the chaos before she was caught.

This is like 6 of 27 pages I wrote.

Part of the idea is that Benny will meet anime-style characters based on famous Looney Tunes characters. Penny here should be easy to figure out.

I kinda feel it'd be better if I went back and wrote Benny arriving in the world, or a bit before the events here, but as of this moment, I don't really have any ideas of what to do for that.

Also he's Benny Bunny because Looney Tunes has "Bugs Bunny" and Tiny Toons has "Buster Bunny" So I wanted a name that also began with a 'B'. Benny seemed like the best name.

If you actually took the time to read this. I thank you. I sorta mainly wrote it for a friend (who...still hasn't read it) and well. It's been sitting in my Google Docs with no real idea of what to do with it.

There is also more pages as I said. So I'll release more in here for anyone who might be interested.
