There was a by-election held in Caerphilly, Wales yesterday. A solidly Labour area for over a century, the Labour (and Tory) vote absolutely collapsed, and the contest became a two-horse race between far-right Reform party and Plaid Cymru, the Welsh nationalist party. Thankfully Plaid beat the fash quite handily, beating polling expectations that it was going to be a narrow Reform win.

The Labour Party really is buggered if is polling <15% anywhere in Wales though. It’s going to get wiped out there next May unless a miracle happens.

I mean, it’s as harsh a punishment as the monarch is most likely allowed to enact. Short of bringing back beheadings.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

The UK head of Palantir is Louis Mosley.

If that name sounds familiar, it’s because he’s the grandson of the late British Union of Fascists leader Oswald Mosley.

Totes the kind of man you’d want to head up a military surveillance apparatus.

hug.
