What about the other Trackers? Like Sentinel Prime's Gold Trackers, and the Silver Trackers?
In true traditional frustrating toy release fashion, they could do multipacks.

Airachnid with one or two Death Trackers.
Sentinel Prime with two Gold Trackers (or one Gold, one Silver).
Airachnid, Sentinel Prime, Gold Tracker.
Silver Trackers 2-Pack.

These are all designs I generally like, so I'd be interested in all but the last for variety. Although I'd appreciate a change to the Trackers so they have a better altmode. Wouldn't be hard to improve on.

Those Youtube shorts suck.
Just think of what they could have done using some toys from Studio series Bumblebee and Generations War for Cybertron for a more serious serial story:
- Mirage always being cogged and different having difficulty fitting in, being harassed and bullied by the former miners because of it.
- Megatron being an outsider to the high guard tries his hand at writing to gain their favour.
- The high guard themselves being misfits in the Age of Primes forged by Megatronus Prime (who was an outsider) into a fighting force, this backstory could add layers to them giving Starscream, Shockwave and Soundwave a history.
- Badassitron has sessions with Rung who helps him break his insanity from isolation and he becomes a scout.
- Darkwing and Airachnid being rogue agents leading Sentinel's followers turned cult against Optimus' regime and their eventual absorption into the Decepticons.
- The Autobots and Deceptiucons rebuilding Cybertron, forming trade networks with other communities and the Decepticons building Kaon.
- Optimus finds being a politician grinding and tries his hand at dock working, being a cop, archivist just top be grounded in their concerns believing it'll make him a more effective leader and also show budding friendships with Ironhide and Ratchet.

The list is endless.

And yeah, I know, there was a dedicated TFOne line that actually punched above its weight with the main releases but man... Studio Series is THE movie line. I don't have a marketing degree or whatever it is that would qualify me for some bs suit position at Hasbro but even I can figure out you want your Studio Series line to harmonize with the ongoing theatrical release.

Are you sure about the main line? Any kids who wanted to build their collection around the Prime Changers (which did punch above their weight, for sure) still cannot complete the tiny main cast. They have to fill in the gaps with the various gimmicky bricks that clearly don't match (which will drive some kids nuts; some of us were just born like that) or wait a few months for Studio Series, in which case the main line failed the assignment.

The worst part is that they only really needed Elita and Airachnid to cover the main important characters (yeah, plenty of other big names are around, but most of them are either relatively minor characters in the movie, or straight-up cameos that kids are less likely to care about), and they didn't manage that. Because, girls, I guess.

And then they could've rolled out more impressive toys later in Studio Series, and plenty of collectors would double dip anyway. So they left more money on the table.

TF One Director Josh Cooley is starting to do press rounds concerning the next Paramount animated feature, “I Eat Poop: A Dung Beetle’s Story”. While attending Botcon, reportedly, Cooley came out and said that Paramount was not actively looking to develop a sequel to Transformers One at this time.

That news is probably not much of a surprise given the film’s paltry $129 million WORLDWIDE haul, and Paramount’s broader issues and impending merger with Skydance Media. News has also been very quiet on the Transformers/GI Joe crossover film between the failure of Snake Eyes and Transformers One with the lukewarm response to Rise of the Beasts.

It's a shame but understandable. Paramount would be crazy to sink any more money into this.

Well, they are obviously still crazy. But in a different way. Hasbro needs to take a long break before doing anything with Paramount again, if ever.

Wide open for Hasbro to greenlight a ONE series with no sequel on the horizon.

Fan acceptance of the property is higher than most of the other movies.

Just out of curiosity, where did you first hear about this?

I imagine Hasbro's just going to move on. Cyberworld is just weeks away. It had to be well into production before ONE flopped. They knew they were going to pivot. ONE/Earthspark was already a broken dream and they just wanted it out the door and done with.

I would actually make the argument Cyberworld, with its toy first approach, seemed more in response to the lackluster reception of Earthspark than any issues with One.
That said, I DO think that poor financial reception to the film may well have put a damper on any “post-Earthspark” TV series plans. Cyberworld, seemingly a “secondary” initiative, might well be thrust into the position of being a primary driver for the brand for the next couple years.

Personally, I kind of get the feeling that Transformers is due for a sort of “soft reset”. A complete break, a shift from “continuing initiatives” and repositioning of the brand going forward for the better part of the next decade. The last time we got that was in mid-2018/early 2019, on the back of Cyberverse, Bumblebee, and Generations Siege. Maybe that’s why Age of the Primes is only two years; Hasbro’s exploring a more significant shift in the brand’s marketing message and theming coming in 2027.
(Note, I’m NOT talking about a “Beast Wars” style overhaul. More akin to a “soft relaunch” with revamped packaging and marketing initiatives. Again, like we saw at the end of 2018)

I agree but I don't see these as unconnected failures. I'm guessing there was a plan at one point to use ONE to launch Earthspark. If that was the plan, it's been in shambles for years.

Here's my timeline.
ONE is conceived as a Bayverse prequel.
TLK fails. ONE gets retooled into its own thing.
Earthspark is roughly planned out as the future of ONE.
A small toyline for ONE is planned. It doesn't need much, because it'll roll over into Earthspark.
ONE gets stuck in development hell so long that Hasbro gives up and pushes Earthspark out just to have something. It isn't really ready, hence all the Cyberverse redecos. It's a rush job.
Earthspark fails. This has all gone very wrong now. They no longer know what they want to do with ONE even if it succeeds. We already got the post-ONE plan and it failed.
Hasbro begins planning for Cyberworld.
ONE finally comes out along with its tiny toyline. Hasbro barely markets it, because they already know they're moving on.

Having just yesterday heard Josh Cooley speak in person at length about TF One's development, I really didn't get the impression that it and EarthSpark had much to do with each other besides the broad-strokes similarity of being Transformers productions that primarily depicted Optimus and Megatron as pals.

I'd like to see something more daring, myself. New heroes, new villains, new story.

So, I guess like Beast Wars, but not.

Or Robots in Disguise. 2001, not 2015.

Or Masterforce/Victory.

I know, I know, "gotta have Optimus/Bumblebee/Megatron/Starscream."

Though looking at how things have been going... do we?

Maybe that's cooled off. Maybe it's finally time? Maybe kids today are starting to see Optimus Prime as "your father's Autobot"... because he is. And possibly their grandfather, too, depending. (Crap, I feel old now...)

I mean, as long as CHUG.14159265359 keeps going, the trademarks remain secure, right?

Maybe while that maintains the legacy, the kids line is the place to get bolder and more creative. They've dipped their toes in there already with stuff like Cyberverse giving us a handful of all-new characters.

Just a thought.

I think Hasbro should let Tomy Takara take the lead on TV projects, while they focus on developing a AAA video game to market, something clearly went wrong with the last try as it got stuck in devlopment hell to the point Hasbro abandoned it completely, my guess is that those in charge were just screwing around so much and everything the people in charge were seeing, wasn't pleasing them and likely money spent on the project was being wasted on not important stuff that they decided to pull the plug on it!

Video games in general are a messy landscape these days, and AAA video games in particular are an expensive, long-production-process minefield. Similar time and money would likely be better sunk into a movie or series. If an existing studio wants to license the brand and characters and take on the work, sure, but recent attempts at that have been uneven, with Expedition (Earthspark) and Galactic Trials mostly being notable for not having been canned like Heavy Metal and Reactivate.
