It feels like they couldnt decide on if they wanted it to be Lockdown or Wildwheel. The toy itself, other then the hook hand looks like Wildwheel, including the fact that he's mostly brown, which has never been Lockdown's colors. But the Art that we can see, looks exactly like Lockdown, except with a top hat. Which honestly kinda works for him since Animated gave him a mortican-esque look. He even has theneck spikes that I would say are just as common in Lockdown designs as the hook hand... and the art has him being black which is Lockdown's main color.

I kinda wish we got info on some of these toys, becuase I'd love know how Wilddown here came to be.

It feels a lot like how they gave Cheetor colors more like Tigatron.

Maybe Wildwheel will be the repaint.

Though, not much about him says "wheel", does it?

Not really:

Unlike Wilddown here, Cheetor's art is still White Cheetor. We don't have White Cheetor/Tigertron Toy and Yellow Cheetor Artwork.

The toy is very Lockdown. The hook, of course, but also: the shoulder spikes, the slots in the forearms, the lack of facial hair (that Wildwheel would have), all hew to the Cyberverse design.

But at the same time it's a bit more divergent than just a color shift because of the hat and especially the bullet belt.

It's confusing, but somewhat par for the course in the line's second year, where Hound has some of his movie counterpart's facial hair and movie Junkheap's color scheme and PCC Icepick's altmode. And this is following a year that had Galvatron with a never-before-seen Galvastache and Mirage cosplaying as a Seeker.

The Boats Boats Boats pack is out here (and that is DEFINITELY a spiky spiky Riptide head on "Mirage") alongside Bumblebig and Sub Soundwave. Sadly, frustratingly, no Pirate Scourge (yet; I am hoping they didn't just SKIP him).

The prices surprised me a little bit, because I thought Scourge and Soundwave were from the same price point. I wish they WERE; the pirate ship is much smaller than I was hoping, and if you're going to be lacking articulation you could at least be an imposing background figure. Still, less pricey is good... frankly, if there were someone who'd buy the Pirate Prime and defray that expense, I might be tempted.

A good bounty hunter is part detective, and the private eye archetype is a first cousin to the cowboy, so it kind of all fits. (And, of course, the gunslinger.) The brown bear aspect... I don't know. That's much more "frontier" than Wild West.

The bear with a hook-paw is at once great and very lazy.

So kind of a mixed bag, IMO, but ok, sure

ADDENDUM

It'd be great if Lockdown was hired by Hot Rod to track down Megatron.

Also, the bear altmode makes more sense than I thought. The two oldest and most influential private eye characters (Sam Spade and Philip Marlowe) were both based in California, the Bear Flag Republic. (And there's also Lew Archer, Jim Rockford, and so on.)

And for a slightly further stretch, you can get to Boston-based Spenser with the Bruins.

There. I have successfully talked myself into getting an $11 action figure. You're welcome, Hasbro.

Yeah, especially in the artwork it looks more like they were going for wolf.

All my local haunts are getting worse and worse at carrying Cyberworld toys, which is unfortunate for me as there are several that I am very much interested in buying. Spino-wave, Flying Dutchscourge, and now Wildwheelockdown are all on that list.

My local Walmart had Scourge and probably Shockwave the last time I was in. They are on the top shelf, without an actual space on the current mod. I've also found them on an "Energon Surge" cardboard endcap display at another Walmart that was in the toy area, but closer to the bikes than the action figures.
When I bought mine, they rang up as "Site Merch", so I'm not sure how useful the Walmart app is for finding them in stores.
I can keep an eye out if you aren't having any luck finding them.

Thanks! I'll try checking out the top shelf, they do often store new merch up there, so it's worth a look.

Why is it zoomed in? What are they doing anymore?

The finale does work a little better when it's all stitched together, but the core problem remains. It's just stuff happening. This was not the time to save all the explanations for later. The show has been running for a solid year. Give us something.

Also, as a Marvel UK fan it is fun to see an invincible Galvatron fighting everyone, but it becomes dull after a while because there's no progression other than destroying the siphon. This would have been a great time to do the Beast Wars thing and at least pretend to slaughter most of the cast. Let the next season opener tell us who survived their wounds from fighting Galvatron. But no. What we got here was just stuff happening but kinda nothing happening at the same time.

I may give that a watch later if I can talk myself into sparing a few minutes, but I am not sure it'll feel any less repetitive to see the exact same "shout at galvatron, lunge at galvatron, get caught by galvatron" sequence in even closer succession. And for the big heroic arrival of reinforcements to mean even less without the break in between them showing up and getting sidelined.

But yeah, we end the season more or less where we start, just with a few still-muddy revelations (Elita's team is alive, Optimus did something bad, Bumblebee is a little bitch) and most other stuff just kicked down the road.
