Here's the thing... I don't mind Blind Boxes for weapons mainly because I can't imagine caring much which particular weapons I pulled. I like the idea of bonus weapons ok but which particular bonus weapons is just not something that would entice me to go after a particular pull.

Now if actual Characters were involved THEN I would care who I got and would like there to be a code. (I have not bought as many Blokees as I might have if I could know I wasn't gonna pull a repeat. And the more you get from a set the higher a chance of a repeat.)

I know it's off topic and maybe it's not feasible but my Dream would be blind packed Tapes. Do like four Cassette animals do each in an Autobot and Decepticon deco and then do two Chase decos. Blind pack those suckers (with code preferable) and I'd be the most excited buyer.

-ZacWilliam, I'd also take Micromasters in the same style.

I'm old-fashioned. I like looking at options, deciding what I want, going out to get it, and then getting it.

I get what you mean about it being a bigger issue with characters rather than Rifle #43b, but sometimes you just have your eye on something, especially if they're not ALL generic things. If pack 4 of 8 has a cool cobbled-together engine block hammer, I may want to get just that pack, but given my luck I'd end up with two of pack 2 (pistols) and one each of pack 7 (null rays), pack 1 (Prime's ion rifle), and pack 2 (a sword). Sure, it's not too hard to find a use for those, but that's not the point.

I'd prefer to avoid blind packing anything at all; that adds absolutely nothing to this for me and there's no amount of novelty it can offer that would outweigh the annoyance. But if we HAVE to, let's add a code onto that.

I would not normally be a proponent of blind-boxed anything, but in this case it's kind of been established in the world of the cartoon that weapons are dispensed in a random, loot-crate-like manner. I would be perfectly okay with known assortments of weapons and/or gear, with the random part being the colors (red, purple, blue, green, translucent, metallic, etc.).

I would also be a big fan of Cassette/Minicon/Targetmaster buddies that were NOT blindpacked (or at least had codes) being offered as upgrade kits.

Man, wouldn't that be something. Make a Deluxe or below-Deluxe assortment of loot boxes -- a Battle Master or cassette etc and a Weapons Tree or de-sprued weapons wrapped in paper -- and call them Upgrade Kits.

The 3P simp community would have kittens.

I think the Spinmaster weapons system would be ideal. Like if you bought a Batman you got three "blindpacked" weapons accessories. Only you were pretty much guaranteed a Batarang with two other randoms.

That seems like the best of both worlds. You know you'll get one specific character accessory but there's some chance for two others.
