Pirate Ship has been in the top three of my "most wanted alt modes" for a good while. I wish it were bigger but it's great to get one and I will absolutely buy it.

-ZacWilliam, the other two are a School Bus and a pair of Bumper Cars if anyone was curious.

Looks like the Autobots go big on mining crystals, while the Decepticons are aquatic. Odd that Cheetor came out of the gate in Tigatron-ish colors, I guess they wanted to leave yellow to BB. (Big drill BB seems to have fused boots, meh.)

I'm glad they cut bait as soon as they did, as late as that seemed. It makes more sense to outsource the whole "non transforming poseable robot mode with accessories" stuff. The results have been a mixed bag (currently the Auldey ones look the best) but the niche is filled, they're not taking up Hasbro resources, and the licensing out is making them money.

The only RED figure I picked up was Prime Knock Out since that figure is the only show-accurate version of the character's robot mode that has ever been made thus far.

Episode 23, "Hider & Seeker" (w/ the game scenes from Episodes 6, 2, 8, 11 attached at the end; yes, not the full episodes but just the game scenes from each):

Airachnid is out at Target, got mine today!

She shares a transformation with Chop Shop, but very few parts, if any. There's even molded-in detail on a part that could have been the same, but isn't! Technically, the instructions don't have the spider legs rotated on the arms, but I feel like it looks better that way.

Airachnid has 2 extra 5mm ports on her shoulders that Chop Shop doesn’t have. Since the package calls out the "Armor Up" aspect, I assume these are there for that purpose?

3 5mm ports on the back of both figures, but arranged differently.

The only part that seems to be a straight redeco is the axe/pincer/sword weapon thingy. Looks good in the dark pallette!

Oddly, I don't see any faction emblem on Airachnid like the Decepticon one on Chop Shop. Maybe she's unaligned in the show? (Or I just missed it...)

Overall, it's a nice little figure. I could do without the auto-transforming feature, and would love these figs to have elbows and head swivels, but for the price, they're fun little toys that are satisfying to play with!

So, what's "Air"-y about this Airachnid?
