Episode 2 finally got uploaded as individual episode:

And here's Episode 3 ...with Episode 2 slapped onto the back end of it. Oy vey. They really don't want us to watch these individually at first, do they?

That bit was confusing, yes. Were we meant to get 3 AND 4? Or just 3?

I continue to be surprised by, and kind of like (stock Eastern European?) accented Grimlock. Have we ever gotten that to go with his grammatical divergence?

I think I'll view that as an upgrade of sorts to the character framing, from "stilted inaccurate grammar because dumb brute" to "he's not dumb, just approaching the language from outside it". Difference, not deficiency.

(Which may be overthinking it anyway. UT Jetfire suddenly having an Australianebulonian accent wasn't exactly a metaphor or anything either.)

I dig Snarl and the design's patchworky vibe, and wish there were a more articulated toy. As I do in general for these designs upon seeing them in motion. A Dinobot Dinobot rider, neat.

I liked it when they gave Ravage a (Russian) accent in Beast Wars. "Covert Agent Ravitch, at your service".

The confusion stems from episode 1 and 2 being released together on the same day in one video, with the following weekend having no new episode, and then episode 3 coming out today. It's like they originally scheduled each episode to be released one per week, but then decided to release episode 2 a week early in a double bill with episode 1, but then forgot to readjust the schedule for the rei weekends and just didn't release any episode the following weekend at all.

Week 1: Episodes 1 and 2
Week 2: none
Week 3: Episode 3

I love the Animated Optimus vibe they are going with here.. or maybe slightly Primal.
Yeah, people have been whining about how much the humor in this show reminds them too much of the MCU, but I'm just like... "Have y'all forgotten the humor of Beast Wars and Animated so easily?"

Yeah, the nice thing here is that the humor is being derived from the characters and situation, and not just there for a cheap pop.

I think it really says a lot of the production team that, for just 5 minutes, they DO cram a good bit of well designed action and some solid dialogue Into each episode. Instead of Snarl being a copy of Grimlock, he’s a more “articulate” personality that clashes wonderfully with Grimlock’s Zangief strongman vibe. Grimlock’s transforming into robot mode to free his legs is the kind of novel ”design derived” sequences we really haven’t gotten outside of a few instances in Earthspark and Beast Wars.

Again, I think it’s refreshing that we have a series that isn’t being forced to be the “next big epic Transformers event”, and is just allowed to have some fun in this universe of converting robots.

Frankly speaking, when was the last time we got one that was like that? All the way back in Prime?

RID 2015 mostly saved its epic moments for just its season finales. As did Rescue Bots and Rescue Bots Academy (though, the former also had the occasional epic moments in its multi-parters).

Cyberverse really only tried to be epic in the first half of its third season (and many welcomed it for doing so since it had felt earned by that point).

The Netflix cartoon tried to be epic all throughout its run like Prime did, but it kinda came and went with little fanfare and never really reached mainstream levels of attention.

EarthSpark has really only gotten epic in its multi-parters while mostly having fun the rest of the time.

If you ask the marketing department, all those shows were the next big epic transformers event. It's conspicuous how humble they've been about Cyberworld.

I'd say they were even more humble about the BotBots cartoon.
