wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

Might show my sister and see what she says. I got no interest, but she loves scooby doo and it would make for an easy gift.

I do sort of wish the heads had been actual headmasters and could ride in the Mystery Machine. On the other hand, I like the lack of clear plastic. And the fact that it's as far as I know a remold of nothing totally surprises me given the number of vans we've had recently they could have pulled from. Interesting design, and if you have a lot of Titan Master bodies you could easily start improvising...Getaway could be an easy Fred body.

If this is indeed a remold, it's VERY extensive. I've looked up both the Party Wallop and the Stranger Things van, and can't find any obvious parts in common.

To me, it looks more like either Earthrise or SS86 Ironhide.

The feet are waffled...

Also, (Daphne's?) head reminds me of another TF. Not sure if it's the one below or another one.

Anyway, I hope the comic has them stripping the pretender shell from some baddie and saying "It was old-bot Skullgrin all along!"

Or maybe they'll include cameos from Ectotron and the Universal Monsters headmasters?

There won't be a comic, as Skybound is too concerned about being a Big Boy Media Enterprise telling Super Serious Grown-up Stories to do any Silly Gay-Ass Baby Stories that they have to PAY to make, instead of just reprinting the pre-existing back catalog of Silly Gay-Ass Baby Stories for Dumb Babies.

Why don't you tell us how you really feel about someone pissing in your cornflakes over pretend robots from outer space?

no but srsly, those heads look terrible (in addition to being too small and looking bad in an entirely different way) and I'm annoyed there apparently isn't a default Mysterious Prime head

(And I'm not just saying this because I'm a terrible person who doesn't like Scooby-Doo, but that's probably part of it.)

I think part of the problem is they have four different warm colours on the heads, and the robot mode has barely any of the caramel/Scooby colour on it, so the heads stick out more. If some of that gray had used that colour, it might have been a lot more cohesive. I would have also accepted a silver, Breastforce-styled head with a dog themed helmet.

The heads are really really bad. Too small, weird facial expressions and don’t really fit the body. The base robot’s not too great too.

The name isn't very good, either.

Like, must they slap "Prime" on the back of every random word they can think of? "Mysterious Prime"? "Tundra Prime"? These names are just lazy.

Granted, not as atrocious as "Ultimate X-Panse" (should have been "X-Celsior"!), but still pretty lousy.

I think they haven't got anyone with a serious feel for names these days, but then they are pretty much falling back on a lot of established characters for the media, these days

Oh! Headmasters inspired by the Scooby gang the Junkions told them about, TrapMaster, Fashionista, Goggles, and Gobbler, with the Mystery Mech and their cyber-dog, Scooby Deux. But that would have required an actual bio and some Titan Masters.
