Looking forward to a TM2 Cybershark recolour.
Why do you presume this every time there is something like this? That has to be old stock they found in a warehouse. There's no way someone picked those molds to do new runs.
Hoping for this and Hellwarp. But I'm betting the latter isn't on their radar.Looking forward to a TM2 Cybershark recolour.
I don't know about that. At this point I think the Hasbro team has proven there is very little that isn't on their radar at some level.Hoping for this and Hellwarp. But I'm betting the latter isn't on their radar.
Omnibots and Minispies might disagree.I don't know about that. At this point I think the Hasbro team has proven there is very little that isn't on their radar at some level.
Yeah, we're well past the Aaron Archer era when his Hasbro team was asked at either SDCC 2013 or 2014 about the possibility of redecoing Thrilling 30 Metroplex into Metrotitan, and they answered "...Who?"I don't know about that. At this point I think the Hasbro team has proven there is very little that isn't on their radar at some level.
I think the bigger obstacle to getting a Hellwarp is that molds more often than not don't need to be redecoed nowadays. No sense in doing some minor Japanese toyline repaint when they could just pump out more Sky Bytes in Generations subline 2027.
Why do you presume this every time there is something like this?
One would presume old stock would find its way to a discount chain or just show up as in stock somewhere.
Hoping for this and Hellwarp. But I'm betting the latter isn't on their radar.
This is where I, too, would gush about Sky-Byte.

IF I HAD ONE!!
There's a a chance they could do it, true, but I'm not gonna bet on them releasing a toy whose character's existence is a result of a word association session and only appears in text stories where he does nothing of note. They've also left plenty of redecoes both popular and obscure on the table for previous molds, so mold reuse is clearly not as big a priority as it used to be.Becuase the current team is just as big of nerds as we are. We've gotten a lot in the "they'd never actually do that" catagory of repaints.
Heck, between Selects and the big 3 capsule initiatives between Target, Walmart and Amazon, there’s a LOT more “places” the team has to slot in figures, especially for a straight repaint like TM2 Cybershark.TM2 Cybershark seems like a given for a Generations Selects release. Hellwarp? Also very plausible for Generations Selects.
You say that, but Thundertron got a whole new mold. There's a a chance they could do it, true, but I'm not gonna bet on them releasing a toy whose character's existence is a result of a word association session and only appears in text stories where he does nothing of note.
