I like Crosshairs himself OK. Certainly wouldn't mind a redo with a dedicated mold that's closer to his G1 form, but I'd ultimately rather see that slot used for the many other characters that still need an update.

Now if they want to pull a Spinister and rerelease him with a matching Targetmaster partner, I'd likely bite. I have Siege Pinpointer, but I also bought AotP Spinister despite having Siege Hairsplitter and Singe. I really like having my teams be internally consistent.

Yeah, I can see them selling recolors of the double targetmaster molds and retooling the Siege Crosshairs mold ala Ruckus for the capsule line if it goes on long enough.

Remember when Legacy was revealed and people were worried that it was going to be a step down from WFC? People are silly.
To be fair, Wave 1 of Legacy was kind of mid. And it just wouldn't go away.

I remember when Siege was unveiled and everyone lost their minds at more G1 guys only to go "ok these are pretty good" when the figures hit shelves.

Some day, in some hopeful future, a Transformers line will be announced and people won't start doomposting.

But we're far away from that day.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was received from the start, but maybe I'm just scarred from the AllSpark Discord. Way too much negativity there.
I wouldn't know. I mostly just chill in here, and only occasionally pop into the Discord for the Forumites and BotCon-chat channels.

Expecting this fandom to not doompost as soon as a new toyline gets announced is like expecting this fandom to not scream RUINED FOREVER whenever Hasbro does something different.

Never forget that there are people who are STILL going trukk not munky in the year of our Lord 2025

I think the Allspark forums have historically been a bit different, in terms of intensity and general positivity/negativity. It's a big reason I've only ever stayed in this community, if and when I feel the need for one.

But it's also true that individuals and communities alike tend to outgrow certain tendencies, and it's different for different groups and contexts.

Self-selection bias is a thing. People who are highly motivated one way or the other are far more likely to speak up and to speak up more vocally than people who are less enthusiastic.

Age of the Primes?
I did see an awful lot of comments immediately about how awful the Thirteen are as a concept, how they have no interest in them, didn't want toys of them, etc. Admittedly, not necessarily quite as negative as the fandom is known for, but certainly a good amount of it.

It's been entertaining watching all the comments since then about still not liking the Thirteen, but having to admit that these toys are actually pretty damn good.

Me, over time I've cooled on the Thirteen as a concept. But yes, I'm admiring the toys from afar. Sadly having to skip them due to budget and space reasons, at least for now (except for Micronus, y'all get out of my way when that hits virtual or physical shelves; maaaaybe pencil stache book man).

I'm very appreciative of how the team has committed to them so far.
