I already have Sandstorm and Slugslinger, and I was never crazy for the G2 Dinobots, so the 2-packs are easy passes for me. I'm all in for everything else, though.
I was also surprised to see Alpha Trion's younger appearance, yet it makes a whole lot of sense with it being a revival of the Primes and being alongside the Aerialbots. I really hope his head is swappable with the Scourge retool so you can pick which head you want to use.
Micronus is fantastic. I'd considered that he could be a little bot with accessories to fill out the price point, but the Apex Armor homage is another thing that should have been obvious, but still surprised me. And with his appearance being based on his most notable appearance in RiD, having him transform like a RiD Mini-Con is fantastic.
Onyx is still looking great. I'm still curious to see if he can be posed as Shockwave in disguise with his extra centaur legs sticking out from his upright robot form. I'm betting he can.
The Aerialbots look as expected. Can't wait to finish out the team. And it will be nice to complete the Deluxe Insecticons. I never had any of their G1 toys, and they had very little media presence, but they were always a curiosity for me.
That just leaves Flatline. He didn't have a big role in the comics, but a Decepticon medic is kind of a rare commodity. It'll be nice to give Knockout someone else to hang out with besides Breakdown.

Flatline isn't someone I'm super interested in, but it does feel like the kind of repaints we used to get all the time. Take someone, new colour scheme, maybe a new head, boom someone else. I know Flatline has technically existed for a while, but they've been such a lesser known character that it still feel like this.
This style of repaint is far less ideal than the dedicated retooling and pretooling we get today overall, but it's kind of nostalgic to see this sort of thing happen again.

Onyx already looked amazing to me.

Micronus? Look. I was always going to get all of the Thirteen. I decided that before we even knew what any of their toys looked like because I'ma mark into the legacy of the Primes as a concept. But holy hell is Micronus fun looking.
The Aerialbots? Passing on them.
The G2 Dinobots look really nice but I have the full G1 set. I can't justify more of these goofs

So I was already thinking remold/repaint potential for these guys because this group in particular is very interesting on that front to me. Excluding Flatline (who already is one) this is what I got:
Alpha Trion - He's a hard one actually for me. I mean the easy answer is Old Alpha Trion but that's also boring and we have a slightly better one already imo. He's got a very Floro Dery aesthetic which in theory would suggest a cartoon generic/obscurity but I can't think of a good one. His fairly wedge shaped spaceship mode suggests some of the Pretenders (Crossblade's inner robot, Roadblock's transforming shell) but not quite enough to sell me on the idea, and his body is a hair too bulky for Star Drive. But I feel like there's a great option somewhere just out of my grasp...
EDIT: Nick Roche suggested Macabre on Bluesky and that's a great choice!
Micronus - Has to be Scrounge. He's a disk. Do what you want with the Apex Armor Hasbro but a non-Cosmos Scrounge would be awesome.
Firefly and Skydive - SG Superion is a different toy with different components and honestly I'm not a fan of SG anyway. G2 is probably the one most likely to happen, obviously, but part of me likes the idea of turning them into the Predators or SkyScortchers who are neat and semi-unlikely to happen on their own, even if the robot modes aren't a perfect match. Also I honestly just never liked the Aerialbots G2 decos. Anyone have another idea?
Venom - Glowstrike! Glowstrike! Glowstrike! I know I'm the one always asking for a Beet Papil homage but that would be a huge unlikely stretch from this toy while Glowstrike would be surprisingly easy and a really good match up. And would give us more RiD 2015, more of a character who never got a toy, more Ladies, and more Decepticon Leaders. And as a firefly maybe some Glow-in-the-Dark paint? She'd be a win all around,
Onyx Prime - Has to be either Cybertron Scourge or one of the Prime Predacons I would think. Although, hear me out, remember when Matt Tracker got a GIJoe figure? ...Baron Karza would be a really really really good outside choice here and I'd buy him instantly.

The only real intersting reveals for me are the Airelbots, the rest are not that intersting, Alpha Trion, he looks ok but I'm not a fan of the younger look, so I'll pass so the War Dawn two pack verison for now will be my defacto verison of the character in my collection, besides, most of these Primes, I have not been really intersted in as they are rather obscure and with these all new desgins, they aren't really saying buy, so for now, the only primes I'm having are the Fallen and Star Convoy
Still absolutely in love with the fact that they didn't half ass or crap out on onyx prime. And while I have the older alpha trion figure (the lion.) I like the new one enough to probably throw on it.
Was not expecting young Alpha Trion! I had kind of planned to skip him since I have the Scourge remold, but now he's different enough that I think I may get him, especially since he comes with the Transformers Bible.
Micronus I love. Don't have any connection to the character, but a Minicon with Mega Pretender-style armor? Love it. Wouldn't mind seeing a few of the more traditional Pretenders done this way.
Flatline I like. I was foolishly hoping for a new mold hearse, so I'm a little disappointed, but I have to admit that this looks good.

War Dawn Alpha Trion is neat, smart way to make the Scourge retool not feel redundant.
Venom got more love than I'd ever expect. The wings look awkward but then it made me realize I've only ever known the character in photos taken front on of the vintage toy.
Micronus is ok. Kind of ugly, like a pug dog.
Aerialbots stick the landing. So good to see Fireflight with a show face.
Onyx Prime continues to be the worst looking thing ever and I have to wonder if any time someone praises it they're not doing a bit to mess with me.
Flatline is a neat redeco but keeping the emergency line on the all black ambulance OF DOOM feels silly. Leaves me flat.

I feel you. So far he's the only member of the 13 they've revealed that I just really don't care for. It's a style that some people like, you see a ton of third-party toys that look a lot like that, but it just does nothing for me.
I'm glad I'm not into the lore of the 13, otherwise it would bother me to be 1 short of completing the set, but as it is, I have no trouble skipping him.
Frankly: I love him BECAUSE he's ugly. They found a way to make the single most confusing aspect of the 13 primes into an actual toy and didn't need to include Berkeley grade acid microdots to make us understand it.

Hours later I'm still in denial about the colors the G2 Dinos wound up with. A red Slug and green Snarl would have been incredible.
Honestly I should be glad because I shouldn't be looking for reasons to get more large figures (and I'm half tempted by these anyway) but I've felt very strongly about those specific two color schemes for those dinos.

I was about to go "They massacred my boy" about Micronus untiI realized that's just a big suit for a minicon!
That Skydive is rather tempting since it's deco is like that of the original toy.
If you read it from the front of the vehicle to the back, the red line is like a single beat and then a...flatline. Which is kinda on the nose but not so inappropriate for a black ambulance OF DOOM.

Flatline is actually a pretty consummate medic. He's a real Hippocratic oath typic of doctor.
slug's green is looking really anemic during the live stream. Grimlock and Snarl look fine so I hope it's more vibrant on the final product.
I hope that's just a lighting thing, because it's so weirdly pale.
