Oh, ok, I had misunderstood. I thought he was 'next' quite a while back, hence my confusion over why he kept getting skipped. I hadn't realized they'd just advertised him way ahead.
Then we find that he has no actual wavemates, just him and a Hasbro G2 Motormaster jammed into the same shipping box taking up all the rest of the space, as they were desperate to get it out the door before Takara's landed.

- I am content to skip Jetfire for space and budget concerns, but if they make a Spacewarp I am S C R E W E D.
- The bonus wave, like the Legacy United tailend wave (which brought Overcharge), I'm very keen on. Mostly for MW Starscream. Just worried that this will hit every fumble branch on the way down. If it's just a straight redeco with zero retooling (or even if there's some but insufficient retooling), it'll be frustrating.
- Cybershark seemed like an odd want even to me who wanted it... but I guess, who ELSE could they redeco this guy into? Will gladly get this. This mold is a great update, finally. I just hope the budgets work out in a way that lets them lavish some paint on this guy, including those gorgeous gradients.
- There's only one "New ___ Prime" I want, but watch this not be it at all.

My preference would be a new one that combines with Star Convoy as was probably intended, but I'll take what I can get.
My choice would be one that's retooled from a new Powermaster Optimus Prime.

I second that! Optimus and Rodimus combined into SuperNova Convoy would be awesome. But yeah, wishful thinking.

I feel like they'd just go with "Powermaster Optimus Prime" or even "Ginrai"/"God Ginrai" if they were doing that design. "New Prime" is weird, and "New Rodimus" is the closest thing that can be dug up.
That doesn't mean that's what it is, it could be something totally new or out of left field but... well... this team has proven to us that unrealized designs from the past are absolutely on the table.
