Or make an accessory pack and include some lightly-articulated human figures. Do an Season 1 Autobot pack that comes with Spike and Sparkplug, a Decepticon pack with Dr. Arkeville, an '86 pack with Spike, Carly, and Daniel, etc. Each could also include several episode-specific Transformers sized accessories.

^ I have been pining for human/humanoid/bipedal-adjacent Transformers characters released this way for the longest time. Not sure why they've never been done, but I would love a set like that that would compliment my Transformers collection.

I miss having the multipacks of accessories like I had with my He-man figures in the 80's where you could buy an entire blister pack full of weapons and armor and just them any way you liked. And they were put out by the main company itself. Though the fact that I had to sand posts in the Centurion pack stuff to make a lot work says that modern QC works against us even with that.

Yeah, I remember getting the GI JOE packs as a kid, and I would love to get something like that from Hasbro for TFs.

Odd thought, do something 'licensee adjacent' for an official release with someone like Super7 doing ReAction+ figures of non-transforming characters like the human cast in 3 inch scales, and put accessories for the mainline Transformers with them. So it's still in theory first-party, but without having to use a limited line slot or complex transforming mold set at the same time.

3" scale would be larger than I'd prefer. I'd want them to be roughly in scale with mainline figures. Scale, of course, varies pretty wildly from figure to figure, but I'd want them to look like they'd believably fit into your average carformer if it had a real interior.

Yeah, I think you're average Tom, Dick, or Sideswipe is a bit smaller than 1:35, so maybe around 1.5" tall?

Diaclone or Starcom-sized figures could be fun to have side-by-side with TFs.

What if someone like Super7 started covering the accessory packs, too?

In case you need a reminder about what accessories came with the Centurion set.

Megatron x Nightbird x Mysterious Prime, where the contents of the Centurion Pack are hidden in a treasure chest in an old hotel run by a retired Megatron, and Nightbird has been posing as the CyberWitch to scare him off the property. And she would have gotten away with it too, had it not been for that multi-head-swapping shared-body nightmare and their dog.

And I still find it funny how they put Megatron-gun's silencer separate to look like an extra accessory even though there's literally only one place it fits anywhere.

The sad thing is, if they are obsessed with packing it with something to make it cost more, there are plenty of things I'd love to see as a repaint that would make sense and not be redundant. Like a Glow In The Dark Starscream of whatever mold, to be a ghost. Not the usual clear-plastic stuff. They did it for the lion...

Heck, the Megatron-Cannon toting Bumblebee would have been a great candidate for that. Or the recent Goldbug release. Any of those with an accessory pack of some actually useful stuff (not more blast parts) would have been excellent. Or, if they are ok with smaller price points, make deluxe packs of single cassette bots with three or four 'extra' parts each, so you get a cassette minion AND some weapons to pass around. There's all sorts of ways to work within the limits Hasbro seems to have.

I like that idea! Maybe even blind box them with a seal package of random options from a large pool of accessories. That way you never know what you might get!

Yeah, but, unlike Starscream, the lion isn't a ghost. He's a Super Saiyan. ;)

I've been told minifigures of characters are lame and nobody wants them. Now the Siege axe again and some Bay Prime blades? Everyone wants those!

Split the difference and make mini-figures of Spike, Sparkplug, Arkeville, Carly, and Daniel that all transform into Siege axes and Bay Prime blades. 😛

Orr pack them with troop builders. Give me earth mode Autorooper with a pile of accessories.
Seriously, the Centurion was a good template. A Deluxe troop builder with a ton of good stuff? I'm in. An AUTOROOPER?! I'm in-er.

I might've even gotten sucked into this if the troop builders were the otherwise meh G2 trooper and Quintesson Bailiff-whatever from the 4-pack. But this is a good little formula. They can even just leave the accessories on the sprues if that helps; they've done that before.

Wait, wasn't the Centurion pack supposedly getting a 2027 reissue? Or was that an error/has that been cancelled?

Not liking that the Cassette 6 Pack is an exclusive.
Wait, what? Exclusive to where?

I just looked back over the description on the front page, it doesn't mention anything about that.

Damnation... I hope this doesn't turn into a problem for me to get.
