Watch it turn out that MW Starscream does have a new head, but it's one that resembles the typical G1 Seeker head design instead of MW Starscream's proper G1 Skyquake head.
No, that’ll take away from options for Studio Series.
But what if…CLOUD Rodimus Prime…?!
Yeah I'm far more interested in a G1 Skyquake or King Atlas. Hopefully MW Starscream is a bridge to those guys.
I'm curious to see how the Nexus limbs end up (if that's indeed who Breakaway and Skyguard are). I'd be totally fine with them getting new decos instead of trying to be slavish to the originals, just keeping the general color scheme (blue/red/grey) should be enough. The original ones were a bit of a mess, with close-but-not-the-same colors (blue/lavender/purple, red/salmon, Skyfall having no grey, etc.)
I might actually bite on Cybershark, though I'm sure it'll be in the Transmetal 2 colors instead of his much-superior original scheme, which I'd like to see someone try on the TM2 mold.
Maybe New Prime is the friends we made along the way.
An actual all-new Prime design would be a welcome surprise. I could see this team wanting to do that just to show what they can do.

My thoughts on this new Prime pretty much screams "Optiums Prime!!" But the question is, will he be a another verison of 86 or a different figure like the Reactive Optimus, thou I think its likely to be a deco of 86 minus the trailer

Again, without any character name, it’s hard to point to a solid idea, which is kind of fun. Here’s my running list of options:
Powerlinx Optimus Prime- Armada Cab only in Powerlinx deco (probably show). This is probably my “top pick” simply because of Commander Armada Jetfire.
Rodimus Prime- SS86 Springer redeco’d into Hot Rod, ala, Cloud
Delta Prime/Magnus- Color tweaked version of the Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus
A Nova Prime redeco (Magnus Prime?)
An outlier is a G1 Sentinel Prime (Either an Earthrise set redeco or SS86 redeco), but there is that Artifact set which remains to be seen if it will include a figure at all. Then again, maybe Sentinel could end up a retool of one of the Astrotrains?
My deep hope is that we’ll finally get that Primal Prime redeco from Power of the Primes. It would certainly vibe with the 90s/early oughts vibe figures like Starscream, Wildrider and Cybershark are giving. But at this point? It’s probably among the longer shots among the options I’ve presented.
Man, after watching this I really wish they could have done Nexus Prime in the style of Gats Blocker. Since he's supposed to be "the first combiner" making him an homage to the toy that was the predecessor to the original G1 combiners would have been quite cool and totally appropriate. The only question would be how to shuffle the price points to make it happen.

Counterpoint- Exhaust is awesome
Hmm...I wonder what they are going to do to distinguish Exhaust from the Gen Selects release? I suppose painted windows, but anything other than tinted grey don't really fit the character, IMHO.
While we all just ignore the endless string of recoloured bumblebees...
