wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

And dismissing it with prejudice would have stopped him from doing that how?
It wouldn't lead to people getting dragged back into court. It would have just been the system itself saying "no, you can't bring this case again".

They claim DOGE has just been decentralized, which seems to check out.

DOGE staff have also taken on other roles in the administration. Most prominent is Gebbia, whom Trump tasked with improving the “visual presentation” of government websites.
Zachary Terrell, part of the DOGE team given access to government health systems in the early days of Trump's second term, is now chief technology officer at the Department of Health and Human Services.
Rachel Riley, who had the same access according to court filings, is now chief of the Office of Naval Research, according to the office’s website.
Jeremy Lewin, who helped Musk and the Trump administration dismantle the U.S. Agency for International Development, now oversees foreign assistance at the State Department, according to the agency's website.
The White House budget office has tasked Scott Langmack, who was DOGE’s representative at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, with creating custom AI applications to pore through U.S. regulations and determine which ones to eliminate, according to his LinkedIn profile.

So they're getting more deeply embedded into the system, instead of all working in one nebulous agency with dubious jurisdiction over anything.

I did my regular Thanksgiving tradition of tagging the Donald in a post that otherwise simply read, "You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant."

So let me get this straight (and information is admittedly limited and may turn out to be innacurate), but so far we have:

-The shooter, Rahmanulla Lakanwal, came to to the US in 2021 (during Trump's first term) as part of Operation Allies Welcome as he had been working as an interpreter for the CIA
-Petitions for Asylum and is vetted and granted asylum this year
-Judge rules last week that Trumps deployment of National Guard to DC was illegal
-for no apparent reason Lakanwal decides to travel from Washington State to Washington DC just to shoot a couple of National Guardsmen
-apparently his family has disappeared?
-now, of course, Trump is going to use this as justification to defy the court's ruling and keep the National Guard in DC.

Convenient how that all works out. But nothing to see here folks, just keep right on moving down the path of no return.

If Venezuelan fisherman aren't going to line Trump's pockets like this guy did, then what is he supposed to do, not bomb them?

Venezuela has sent paperwork in saying they expect the US, under Trump, to attempt to invade and seize their oil supply.
