That's one hurdle leapt. Now it's on to the Senate, where it will get enough votes to go to Trump. Then Trump will veto it and it'll go back to the Senate, where it won't get enough votes to overrule his veto, and the Republicans succeed in keeping Dear Leader safe from consequences while getting to say that they tried to hold him accountable, but oh well, what can you do, democracy amirite.

I'm not so sure of that. 99% yeas from Trump's own party in either house is insane. Do you really think you could get the Republicans in both houses to conspire to vote in completely opposite directions on something?

EDIT: And for that matter, why would you when all you need to accomplish the same thing and not make it look so obviously like a conspiracy is to get the House Republicans to also just chip in the handful of yea votes it would take to push it over 50%?

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

I think that trump might end up with a veto proof problem to deal with soon enough. This was an overwhelming show of how much clout trump has left.

Even Johnson voted for it. That tells me the GOP are telling Trump, he's screwed.

Ironbite-amazing. Wonder what caused this.
